How a Background NPC Became a Fan Favorite

[Blurb still needs work]

After dying suddenly from staying up too late, Beiyuan Liang finds himself in the world of Detective Conan.

The good news is that he has bound himself to a System that lets him see posts on a manga forum. Once his popularity reaches the required level, he can come back to life and go home.

The bad news is that he has become a background NPC who appears in just one chapter before getting killed off.

Beiyuan Liang thinks that's unacceptable.

He starts rushing around all over the manga, determined to make his presence felt.

Before he knows it, he has taken on more and more identities, and because the story is told from different perspectives, situations arise where he's fighting himself and saving himself...

*

1. The protagonist keeps switching between the Red and Black sides. Early on, he does all sorts of bizarre things to increase his presence in the story. Later, he focuses on creating a tragic, beautiful, and powerful character arc.

2. This was written on a whim and is very OOC. Don't read if that's not your thing.

3. The pairing is tentatively Gin.

4. This is a rough version of the blurb and still needs fleshing out.

Theme: Hard work pays off.
