Four Handsome Men Try to Win Me Over (Women Rule)

Chu Suinian was reborn as the third imperial daughter in a feudal matriarchal dynasty.

After a grueling struggle, Chu Suinian defeated her sisters and rose to become crown princess, just one step away from the throne.

There was only one problem: she had no heir.

The news that the crown princess was choosing consorts spread like wildfire through the capital.

Chu Suinian suddenly found that wherever she went, she ran into handsome men.

She went to the cabinet to discuss state affairs with the prime minister, and the gentle, refined legitimate son of the prime minister's household happened to be there delivering documents to his mother.

She went to the military camp to visit the troops, where the dashing general's son knocked her eldest sister off her horse with a single thrust of his red-tasseled spear.

She went to the temple to pray, where the lively, sunny son of a prince from another clan laughed and flew kites among the peach trees with the servants.

She went to the Imperial Academy to study, where the proud, refined son of a prominent family was playing chess with the academy's director and admiringly talking about her...

Chu Suinian: ...

She really ought to take a husband and have a daughter.

Before you read:

1. Women can have children, but childbirth is easy. Men breastfeed and experience pregnancy symptoms (author's setting).

2. One-on-one romance. The male supporting characters have unrequited feelings for the female lead.

3. No gender equality here. Since it's a matriarchal world, let's take it all the way. I just want to write about handsome men competing, seducing the female lead, and vying for her favor.

4. This is an out-and-out girl/boy romance. The female lead cares more about her career than romance.

Theme: Women's independence and self-reliance.
