Important note at the top!!!
The author is terrible at writing blurbs, but the story is more exciting (maybe).
The content draws on official and unofficial histories, as well as various folk tales. There are many versions of history, so the author can only choose one account. (Most of it is based on official records, though I might occasionally use an unofficial tale for a joke.)
There are lots of livestream scenes early on because the male lead is a streamer who loves to talk (not really).
Chapters 1-13 have a lot of livestream content. There will be less history exposition later. The general premise is that the male lead livestreams and people from the past watch. (If that's not your thing, please don't read.)
Although the title says it's about the Qin Dynasty, the story can't only cover the Qin Dynasty. It will inevitably move on to later dynasties. The author can't be entirely objective, but won't whitewash anyone.
The author isn't a history scholar and has limited knowledge, so please point out any errors.
Some details are fictionalized, so this won't stand up to rigorous historical scrutiny.
All worlds are parallel worlds and won't change the course of real history.
Friendly discussion is welcome. No heated arguments.
There are lots of historical livestream stories. If this one really isn't to your taste, don't force yourself to read it!!
No need to tell me if you drop the story.
Happy reading~

The blurbs are at the very bottom.
Historical streamer Chu Jiangyue starts his usual livestream one day, never expecting a flood of users from across the ages to pour into his room.
"Today, let's talk about how Qin rose to power."
Ying Zheng smiles with satisfaction. He's just about to hear how people of later ages praise his great achievements when Chu Jiangyue speaks.
"The Qin Dynasty was a beast, but what a shame it fell too soon."
His satisfied smile freezes on his face.
"Today, let's review Liu Che, Emperor Shizong of Han."
Liu Che is pleased with what he hears. Not even three seconds later, he hears:
"If Liu Che hadn't gone off the rails in his later years, he could have been an enlightened ruler without a stain on his record."
Liu Che is stunned.
"The Western Han? What Western Han?! How do I have a stain on my record? Explain yourself!"
"Actually, the Sui Dynasty wasn't bad either."
Yang Jian laughs and praises Chu Jiangyue's good judgment.
"It's just that Yang Jian was terrible at choosing a crown prince. Still, the Sui Dynasty lasted a little longer than Great Qin, at least."
Yang Jian glares like a knife at Crown Prince Yang Yong, trembling beside him.
The urge to depose the crown prince stirs.
"The Song Dynasty goes without saying. Zhao Kuangyin's start was in a league of its own. The younger brother who took over was a racing champion, followed by two enthusiastic Harbin tourists and a Great Jin Song King. The Song Dynasty started out so well, then turned into the 'Sent-Away' Dynasty."
Even if Zhao Kuangyin doesn't understand what "racing champion" means, he understands what "Sent-Away" means. He kicks Zhao Guangyi flying.
You useless piece of trash!
"The Ming Dynasty was doing all right."
Zhu Yuanzhang grins. There's no way the Zhu family could be useless!
"But maybe the early run of good luck brought a backlash. One of his descendants became a Wala exchange student. Studying abroad was bad enough, but then he even went and opened the gates for the enemy. He single-handedly squandered four generations' worth of gains, putting him in the same league as those earlier Song Dynasty losers."
Zhu Yuanzhang instantly draws a huge cleaver and smashes the table beside him to pieces.
Damn it! If he finds out which descendant was so spineless, he'll kill him in advance and be done with it!
Chu Jiangyue livestreams about history while also debunking hoaxes and clearing up rumors.
"The beacon fires were lit to amuse the feudal lords? That's a rumor. It never happened."
"Shang Yang died by being torn apart by chariots? That's a rumor. He was already dead before they tried to tear him apart."
"Bai Qi buried four hundred thousand Zhao soldiers alive? That's a rumor. He did kill them, but he didn't bury them alive."
"Qin Shi Huang's tyranny made Meng Jiangnu weep over the Great Wall? That's a rumor. Meng Jiangnu wept over the Qi Great Wall, not the Qin Great Wall."
"Xiang Yu burned the Epang Palace? That's a rumor. He burned the Xianyang Palace."
"Hiding a beauty in a golden house? That one's hard to say."
Gifts and donations pour into Chu Jiangyue's livestream. Some emperors thank him for clearing up rumors, while others want to know which useless heir ruined their dynasty.
Chu Jiangyue: I never thought I could make money by talking about history.
"Even If Qin Shi Huang Were Here, the Answer Would Still Be A"
Yan Yuyang takes over a new class.
He gives them two questions to gauge their level:
1. Youxia, a warrior class that existed throughout Chinese history, became the guests of honor of various feudal lords because they championed justice, helped the weak and poor, sheltered chivalrous heroes, and asked for no reward. However, they often violated the law through their martial prowess and were suppressed by rulers. Emperor Wu of Han employed harsh officials to suppress the youxia. What was his fundamental reason for doing this? ( )
A. To severely suppress the power of wealthy landlords
B. To maintain local order
C. To strengthen centralized autocratic rule
D. To divide the power of the various feudal states
Liu Che confidently picks B. The question might as well have his name on it. Whatever he picks must be right.
Liu Che submits his answer, only to be immediately dealt a blow by Yan Yuyang.
"Wrong. The answer is C. Even if Liu Che himself were here today, he'd have to choose C."
Liu Che: So that's what I was thinking? QAQ.
2. During the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, Mencius said that the realm should be "unified under one ruler." Mozi advocated that "all the people of the realm should conform to the Son of Heaven," while Guan Zhong proposed "standardized weights and measures" and "standardized writing and vehicle tracks." This situation ( )
A. Reflects the breakdown of the traditional order
B. Shows that the aristocracy had lost its hereditary privileges
C. Demonstrates the establishment of a centralized system
D. Indicates the collapse of the patriarchal clan system and ritual order
Ying Zheng writes D in big letters, saying it just feels right.
"Wrong again." Yan Yuyang laughs when he sees the username. "You're Qin Shi Huang, aren't you? Even if Qin Shi Huang himself were here today, he'd choose A."
Ying Zheng: I'm here already, and I chose D!
Yan Yuyang can count the students who got the questions right on one hand. He regrets taking on this hot potato. At this rate, doesn't he have to start teaching them history from the first year of middle school?
After teaching for a while, Yan Yuyang realizes that his students are terribly unfocused. They never study their notes in class, preferring to listen to little stories and ask all kinds of random questions.
"Teacher, tell us about papermaking." From Ying Zheng.
"Teacher, can you tell us how to improve gunpowder?" From Zhu Di.
"Teacher, do you know how to make an elixir of immortality?" From Liu Che.
"Teacher, do you know how to stage a successful rebellion?" From Hu Hai.
Hu Hai retracts a message.
How are they supposed to pass their final exams at this rate?
Yan Yuyang gets an idea.
He creates a Most Improved Star title for each class and sets aside ten minutes to answer questions from the student who earns it.
The plan works, and their motivation soars.
Emperors and ministers from every era start competing fiercely in Yan Yuyang's class, all for the chance to ask a question.
Yan Yuyang: I'm hired as a history teacher, but doing the work of a teacher in every subject.
Principal, I want a raise!
Theme: History is a mirror that reveals the rise and fall of nations
Again, it is not shameful to lose to Chen Ping and Zhou Bo, but the way the Lu family lost was too shameful. Although it was indeed Sister Pheasant who pushed the Lu family into the political whirlpool for power, the Lu family's useless and coquettish operations also drove Sister Pheasant's difficult dungeon directly into hell mode. Before she died, she had been urging everyone to deliver food. What else could you expect?
How could Queen Lu be so impulsive and stupid? If this were the case, there would not be so many people under his command that Wang surnamed Liu would not be able to make any moves while he was still alive.
Scholars during the First Emperor's period were both civilized and martial artists. During the Warring States Period, if you didn't know how to study in martial arts, you would have been killed before even leaving the village. It was not like the Song Dynasty.
From a historical perspective, it is unlikely. After Liu Bang died, Sister Pheasant wanted to wipe out all the hero groups, but was persuaded by Li Shang to go back. From the fact that she planned to implement the plan in a secretive way, she knew that she basically wanted to use the same method to deal with Han Xin, but this method might be able to deal with Zhou Bo. Chen Ping was really impossible. With Chen Ping here, Zhou Bo would not be fooled, and 80% of them would be preempted. In fact, Sister Pheasant's cards weren't that bad at the beginning, and her relationship with the Heroes Group was maintained well until Emperor Hui's death. The Heroes Group also recommended the Lu family to become officials in the court in order to reassure the Queen Mother (of course, it should be because they were well aware of the Lu family's qualifications). It turned out that the Lu family were really pure and pure teammates. They couldn't help at all, but they turned Sister Pheasant's difficult script into hell mode, so that Sister Pheasant gave them the title of king and vigorously promoted them in order to save the family. Why Chen Ping didn't object was because he knew that the Lu family could only hinder Sister Pheasant, not help (he was very afraid of Shen Shiqi). As a result, everyone later knew that I felt sorry for the Lu family purely because they were the family that Sister Pheasant cared about (Maybe Sister Pheasant felt a little guilty, after all, it was she who pushed these idiots into the political whirlpool, and now the conflict with the hero group has intensified to the point of endless conflict, so even before she died, she still remembered to tell them to be careful of the hero group), otherwise she would not die unjustly.
Sister Pheasant's biggest problem is that she doesn't have many people she can count on besides herself (Shen Shiqi can barely count as one), not to mention talents. Even among many people who are loyal to her, Liu Bang is the first to be loyal. Lu Yuan and Zhang Yan are both good girls, but as a queen, Zhang Yan perfectly inherited Sister Pheasant's only shortcoming - she was not very good at raising children, and she raised the former young emperor so stupidly. Secondly, Liu Ying died early, and he could live a few more years to allow Lu Pheasant to train a few more of his own people, and demote a few clan members surnamed Liu, or juniors of the Lu family. . . Alas, I don't think it works. If it works, Sister Pheasant won't have made the only stupid trick in her life and directly defrauded the whole family. The third thing is that her opponents all have power and soldiers, and there is also a big bug like Chen Ping. And if you want to be emperor, it means that you have to wipe out all the clan members surnamed Liu and the group of heroes, which may lead to civil war. It is difficult, it is really difficult.
Lu's father's good sons are gone, and the destruction of Lu's family is not far away. Is this the wealth he wants?
It was love at first sight, right? Wei Zifu fell out of favor after entering the palace. Liu Che forgot about her for a year before he remembered her. She was named queen because Liu Zhi was the first son of the 29-year-old Liu Che. Liu Che, who even had to consider other clan children because of the issue of heirs, was so surprised that Wei Zifu made a great contribution. Queen Chen was deposed because she had no children. Although Wei Qing came to serve in the palace because of Wei Zifu, the reason why Wei Qing was valued before he performed meritorious service was because Liu Che had the ability to recognize people and was not Liu Che's love for Wei Zifu. The year when Wei Zifu was forgotten as soon as he entered the palace, Wei Qing saw Liu Che more times than Wei Qing.
Evidence aside, this statement...
If we don't talk about evidence, what should we talk about? Brother Zheng was labeled a tyrant because of his great political achievements. At the same time, he was implicated miserably by Hu Hai. At the same time, he was constantly blamed by the Confucian scholars, and at the same time, he was stepped on by the rulers of the Han Dynasty...
Thousands of years of burning books and trapping Confucian scholars cannot be cleansed. Is that what Ru was being defrauded? Those are warlocks and liars who use magic pills to make poison pills!
Hahaha, running in circles, luckily I didn't die for a few minutes!
It seems that the fathers of Emperor Qin, Emperor Wu and Tang Zong of Han Dynasty were all the same. They fell over.
It's strange to have such a father who treats his family as a tool. She can't control her father.
