Asuka Enjou, the famous Asian Championship gatekeeper. Any champion who has never faced her is jokingly said by netizens to have a questionable claim to the title.
Of course, she isn't a perennial runner-up because she's not strong enough.
"If I win the championship, it can only mean one thing: my opponent in the final paid less in protection money than the championship prize was worth." By Asuka Enjou, from her "Championship Proclamation"
The champion gatekeeper Asuka you imagine: She puts up a good fight against her opponent in the final, then narrowly loses and is left to regret it.
The actual champion gatekeeper Asuka: (First time throwing a match) "I activate my face-down Gift Card, restoring 3000 LP to my opponent. Then I Normal Summon Raidraptor - Vanishing Lanius. End turn."
"So strong, truly incredible. I know I'm no match for you." (Flatly reading from a script)
(All the scenes above are from the Asian Champion's memoirs.)
"How was I supposed to know it was her first time?!" The other person involved in the match-fixing scandal tried to preserve his gentlemanly image, but failed because he was too worked up.
"If her face-down card hadn't been a silver-rare, everyone would've just assumed she wanted to show off her silver-rare Trap Card. I wouldn't even have known how to explain it convincingly."
"As for why it happened, what could I do? I couldn't beat her, and I couldn't outplay her dirty tricks, so I spent a little money to buy the championship. That's all."
The main story is mostly lighthearted, with a little angst, but Asuka's personal storyline is nothing but angst.
Her deck is Raidraptors with a Phantom Knights engine. It's basically pure Xyz. (Though against Vector, who knows what she'll use. That scumbag deserves it.)
And because of this deck, you can even see:
Asuka: Raidraptors and Phantom Knights are like one big family. (Gets carried away dueling.)
IV: Whose Phantom Knights are those?! (Commissions all sorts of Heartland City's detectives to search every nook and cranny for Yuto.)
The pairing is Asian Champion. Both character lists included them, and I couldn't resist, so I started writing. There won't be much dueling, because I'm really bad at playing cards. Really bad. (Also, a pure Xyz deck can't use Wise Strix.)
Feel free to point out any mistakes (sorry I'm so bad it hurts to read), and you're welcome to suggest funny duel ideas. But please don't offer advice on duels I've already written... I only wrote this for fun and decided to post it.
Theme: Treasure the present
It's just a matter of digging it out now, but after a while I'll start printing cards openly (Yuanmu
... Is it a trap? I also want to see Beckuta fight...
You just said you don't want to lose, right? (Come over with a speaker) (Turn on the speaker) (Play the struggling ditty at maximum volume)
Fourth Master, what are you doing? Fourth Master, stop thinking about that giant killer of yours! Your Party B has to get off work!
The writing is so good, wow wow, the effect of the leader, the monster shouting for himself, is so real (why do you have to shout it out when summoning!). I really sympathized with Asuka, it was really well written!
So does the author still write?
The next chapter begins with WDC, and I suddenly realize that IV has not played as many roles as the leader (what the heck!). After writing it, I can happily deviate from the main line of the original work and start daily life and other plot lines.
You actually know Brother Zuo?!
It doesn't matter, I'll do it myself first. The character's OOC plot line I wrote is a mess and full of bugs. I'm really sorry if it's dirty to your eyes, I'll try my best to change it... Because I'm not very good at writing comedy. Friends and relatives who have eaten my V6 meal should know that my accustomed writing style can tell that I am a shady person.
