Everyone thought that a lazy wife like Li Jinjin, who couldn't even cook, would be divorced sooner or later. But to their surprise, the usually stern battalion commander picked up a kitchen knife himself.

After being reborn, Li Mingming decided she would play her cards right this time and avoid the miserable end she had met in her previous life.

Her first step was to swap marriages.

In her previous life, she had been greedy for status and married Song Yining, the handsome battalion commander stationed on the island, despite the fact that he had three children.

Unexpectedly, not long after she married him, Song Yining was discharged due to illness, and the whole family moved away from the island.

Li Mingming had married Song Yining to become a battalion commander's wife. She had no intention of caring for a disabled Song Yining, let alone feeding three hungry mouths. So she packed her bags in the middle of the night and ran off with Song Yining's compensation for his service-related injury and disability benefits.

After living a hard life and returning to the fishing village, she heard what had happened to her cousin.

Her cousin had married the island's deputy battalion commander at the time, and soon became a regiment commander's wife. Later, she even returned to her hometown with her husband, honored and celebrated.

So the first thing Li Mingming did after being reborn was steal her cousin's good husband from her previous life.

She thought her cousin would be poverty-stricken this time, while she would live happily ever after.

But she waited and waited, and never heard that her cousin had left the island. Instead, she heard that her cousin had been promoted to the wife of a regiment commander.

She even heard that the three ungrateful children from her previous life adored their stepmother, her cousin, with all their hearts.

2. The three children are not the male lead's biological children. They are the children of his comrades.

Jiang Su was invisible in her family from the time she was little.

Of five children, she was the least noticeable.

The two older sisters above her: one was her father's little darling, the other her mother's right-hand helper. Of the two younger brothers, one could bring the sky crashing down and their grandparents would still cover for him, while the other was cherished by his maternal grandparents, who feared he might fall if they held him in their hands and dissolve if they held him in their mouths.

Only she was unloved by both her parents, living like a little cabbage growing in a field.

But even growing wild, Jiang Su turned out just as she hoped: an optimist. If her parents didn't love her, she wouldn't love them either. If her siblings weren't kind to her, she would act as if she had no siblings.

She thought that even on her own, she could live like the sun in the sky and become a dazzling pearl.

In the end, Heaven couldn't bear to leave her to walk that road alone. It granted her a precious friendship, and though these girls were not her biological sisters, they were closer than sisters.

She also met a male lead whose heart held only her.

Through all those years, he was part of every joy and sorrow she felt.

In the end, she became the one person he cherished above all others.
