Luo Ling was an obscure history blogger. At the request of her fans, she made a video ranking the ten greatest military commanders in history. Little did she know that her videos would be broadcast across various eras of ancient times. Not only was she overheard by the very people she was talking about, but people from every dynasty in history watched along, too.

There were many generals in the Song Dynasty who could fight, but the emperor was not worthy
The Song Dynasty had many generals who could fight, but few emperors really cared about the military accompanying them. In addition, the literati suppressed the military generals.
The average number of generals in the Song Dynasty was higher than that in the Han and Wu Dynasties. Except for Wei and Huo Shuangxing, the other generals in the Han and Wu Dynasties were just R cards. The generals in the Song Dynasty were except for Yue Fei who was comparable to Wei and Huo. There are also Han Shizong, Wu Jie, and Yu Yunwen. Even the Song Dynasty was richer than the Han Dynasty. It can only be said that the emperor of the Song Dynasty had his brain eaten by dogs and would rather feed the enemy than make his country strong.
