[Bungo Stray Dogs] Can Even a Director Defect to the Decay of the Angel?

Matsumoto Mahiro, a true chaos-loving jokester, ended up on the set of Yokohama Season Five when the System malfunctioned, and used the opportunity to squeeze a hefty payout from it.

Determined to return as soon as possible and thank her lifesaver, Shimizu Ran, in person, Matsumoto Mahiro threw herself wholeheartedly into the villains’ camp, doing her part for the production of Season Five.

On the Season Five set, full of personal indulgences, you may see:

The fake sixth member of the Decay of the Angels, Matsumoto Mahiro

Dostoevsky getting backstabbed time and time again

Sigma and others being threatened into joining the production

The list of people being tormented is still growing at an impressive rate

A few things to know before reading:

The prequel is How a One-Person Production Crew Held Up Season Four in Yokohama. The main story is complete, and you can enjoy this one without reading it.

This is pure feel-good escapism. Life is hard enough, so don’t make yourself miserable over the story, too.

No stockpiled chapters, no outline, and even the blurb was written on a whim (pointing at myself). I write as I go.

I probably won’t finish before Season Five airs. I’ll write as far as I get.

Not sure if there’ll be a pairing, but I’m not asking readers to pick a love interest.

My writing is at an elementary-school level, and any out-of-character behavior is on me.

Theme: Matsumoto Mahiro’s goal is to torment everyone and be Shimizu Ran’s most devoted fangirl.
