The Lighthouse Research Institute classified the incident as "Level 0" in danger.
Observations indicated that the anomaly originated at the heart of the contamination zone, a place no living creature had ever managed to reach.
Even high-level contaminants could only wander around its outer reaches.
This anomaly seemed to be controlled by an invisible hand. If it could be described in one word, that word was:
Pilgrimage.
It was as if the world had a new master.
But after that, every trace vanished. The Lighthouse kept searching for evidence, but found nothing.
Until one day, the Explorer Team found a wanderer in the wasteland, completely unevolved and entirely ordinary.
She had no survival skills whatsoever, yet was completely untouched by contamination.
Although they had no idea how she had survived, the Explorer Team temporarily took her in for her own protection.
