[Bonus chapters updating] Blurb: Chu Jiu had spent his life stealing food from stray dogs, groveling and putting on a smile to please people, only to be spat on and beaten with sticks.
He had gone from a penniless little beggar to the leading star of an opera troupe, earning everyone’s respectful title of Ninth Master.
He had also swallowed fiery liquor and tasted a few tender, warm bodies. But Ninth Master’s heart was made of ice. It had never warmed.
…
When he opened his eyes again, he had become a pretty young actor with a string of scandals, once the celebrated star of Fuzhou City’s opera stage.
The young actor was pretty, timid, and stupid, yet also vain and eager to climb the social ladder.
On a variety show, he was ostracized, then slapped across the face onstage.
It was supposed to be a fake slap, but Chu Jiu was the one who took the hit.
After more than a decade in the opera world, Chu Jiu knew every role and exactly how to react, down to his bones.
The instant the slap landed, his eyes reddened, his gaze brimming with indignation and fury.
His scene partner was completely overshadowed, standing frozen onstage like a wooden doll, forgetting his lines.
…
[Holy crap!! Is this Chu Jiu? Stone-faced Chu Jiu?]
[?!?!?! Chu Jiu is so dominant! Damn, can I say that?]
[I’m shook. Since when is Chu Jiu such a good actor?]
[That was probably just a flash in the pan, right? He’ll be back to his old self next episode.]
Chu Jiu was on an absolute roll.
In a tribute to classic wuxia, he handled the swordplay with fluid, graceful moves that were a joy to watch.
Then he took everyone back to the Tang Dynasty, playing a drunken imperial consort with a supple figure and bewitching eyes.
As a young master in the Republic of China era, he transported viewers straight into the turmoil of that time.
Thanks to his outstanding performance on the variety show Acting Is Serious Business, Chu Jiu gained countless fans.
…
Some idiot got too bold and dared to grab Ninth Master’s ass.
Chu Jiu grabbed him, pinned him against the washbasin, turned on the tap, and soaked him with running water. “You want to screw your ancestor, huh? Well? That depends on whether you’re lucky enough to survive it.”
He walked out of the bathroom in a foul mood and came face-to-face with someone entering.
The newcomer was tall and slender, with an air of nobility and an almost dazzling elegance.
What a coincidence.
Wasn’t this the big shot the pretty young actor had been trying so hard to latch onto?
Chu Jiu’s gaze slid over the man’s Adam’s apple.
He licked his lips.
The pretty boy had a decent eye for men.
But he had always been the one others tried to climb. No one had ever been good enough to climb onto Ninth Master.
…
The big shot turned cold the moment Chu Jiu teased him. When Chu Jiu made the first move, he even pushed him away.
Interesting.
Chu Jiu had never been one to behave himself.
The more the big shot ignored him, the harder Chu Jiu pursued him, pulling out every trick in the book.
At last, he managed to make the man his.
One day, much later…
Chu Jiu clung to Lu Hanzhang in his arms.
“Lu Hanzhang, I’m going to screw you!”
Ninth Master had finally played with fire and gotten himself caught up in it.

Aloof, seductive beauty bottom VS top completely wrapped around his wife (Content warning: neither the top nor the bottom is normal)
Second chance romance
When Shen Yanchu was twenty, he dated a guy who promised to be his puppy forever.
No one knew that Shen Yanchu had carefully plotted to get close to his puppy first. He seduced Shixu with a kiss on the deck beneath a sky full of stars, then cruelly abandoned him.
The Shen Group was on the verge of bankruptcy and desperately needed to secure a deal. Shen Yanchu pulled some strings to get aboard the yacht his old flame Shixu had taken out to sea. The wind billowed his shirt, revealing gorgeous bruises from kisses. Shixu gripped his chin, his gaze icy. “Shen Yanchu, you don’t actually think I’ve spent all these years needing only you, do you?”
Shen Yanchu sat on Shixu’s lap, slipping a pale, slender hand inside his shirt collar. He arched his waist slightly, lifted his chin, and slowly breathed out a hot sigh. “A Xu, your body says it misses me.”
Scene One:
At a banquet, Shen Yanchu was plied with alcohol until his cheeks flushed. Then a former admirer, whom he had once rejected, blocked his path.
“Shen Yanchu, how about I show you a way out? If you satisfy me in bed, I’ll consider investing in the Shen Group and helping it through this crisis.”
Laughter erupted all around them.
Shen Yanchu’s gaze landed on a familiar figure in the distance. “Young Master Zhou, how much are you offering?”
Zhou Siyue stared hungrily at the prize in front of him and gritted out a number.
Zhou Siyue could only watch as Shen Yanchu slipped away from him like a fish, staggering over to the heir of the Shi family. With no bones in his body, Shen Yanchu curled himself around the other man’s waist, wearing an expression Zhou Siyue had never seen before.
He heard Shen Yanchu say, “He’s not offering enough. Mr. Shi, I don’t want to sleep with him. How about I sleep with you instead?”
Zhou Siyue’s face darkened instantly.
Scene Two:
Shen Yanchu moved into Shixu’s home.
During the day, he rode to work with the driver and attended meetings. At night, he lay in Shixu’s bed with a tie or black blindfold over his eyes, the red marks on his wrists still visible…
He pressed both hands against Shixu’s chest, the bells at his waist ringing clear and bright.
It was Shen Yanchu’s first time pleasing someone. His hair was damp with sweat, his waist was weak, and the bells gradually slowed.
Shixu smacked his waist, his voice low and husky. “Keep going. Don’t stop.”
…
The Shen Group went bankrupt in the end, and plenty of people were waiting to get their hands on that beautiful treasure.
They waited and waited, only to hear that the Shi family’s heir was marrying Shen Yanchu.
Everyone: ???
They’re getting married for business, too?
…
Bonus scene:
Sunlight spilled into the room.
A slender, pale waist was held tight in an embrace. Teeth nipped at a collarbone covered in kiss marks, as the newlywed husband growled, “Sui Sui, don’t leave me a second time!”
“Smack!”
The beauty in bed slapped the person on top of him across the back and shoved his head away from his shoulder. “If you’re as insatiable as you were last night, you can get out!”
(Note: A person shouldn’t trip over the same stone twice, but Shixu can fall for his wife countless times.)
