Qianye Kenji is a full-fledged member of the Black Organization.
He spends his days scrambling to make a living, thoroughly numb to his utterly ordinary life. He just never expected things to suddenly take a turn one day
What?! Being requisitioned as an experimental subject is some new way of exploiting overworked employees?
Considering the Organization is paying decently for now... I suppose I'll go along with it. An employee who bites the hand that feeds them is no good employee, and even a salted fish that flips over is still a salted fish. Besides, the drug doesn't seem to have any major problems so far, and this might even lead to some unexpected perks.
Thinking this, Qianye Kenji chose to lie flat once again.
A pure-blooded Black Organization salaryman (√)
He barely gets involved in the main plot (probably). I mainly want to write some everyday-life stuff. No outline, so the story can go anywhere.
Top. Pairing is Gin.
→ I'm not even sure I'll ever write them falling in love. This pairing just indicates the author's preference. As for where the plot will actually go... that's still unknown. But the author is trying to push them together.
Since the story is told from a salaryman's perspective, the Organization looks different from how other people see it. (And because there are lots of personal additions, the Organization the protagonist encounters also differs from the one in the original. Due to some uncontrollable factors, the Organization's scientific capabilities have improved, so this isn't a purely scientific setting.)
The protagonist generally doesn't feel much toward other people (meaning he doesn't particularly dislike or like them; they're just ordinary to him).
Warnings:
I don't have much writing experience, so this might be boring. I also don't have much work experience, so it'll probably be even more boring. And I don't have much romantic experience either, so it may be incredibly boring. I just suddenly wanted to write something, so I started.
Also, since I don't have a framework or anything, I don't know what the writing style or format will end up being. I'll just take it as it comes. Updates are irregular. To encourage myself to update a little more often, I've decided to make each chapter 1,000+ words. Hopefully that'll motivate me.
If I can, I'll avoid using tags (if I really can't leave them blank, I'll use as few as possible). This is mainly for my own satisfaction.
Theme: In this world, besides a paycheck and time off, only Gin can bring a little warmth.
Bosses should not have too high expectations for their subordinates [Great Reading]
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, the fate of ordinary social animals meeting elite bosses!
The social workers and the boss have an inexplicable feeling of having to continue working after get off work. In addition, the boss is still an elite and the industry is illegal, so the feeling of being forced to work overtime is really strong 🤩 🤩 🤩
Now that I have a picture, I happily made a new cover again! Although I don't know why I can see it on the web version but not on the mobile version... I don't know if this is a bug and when it will be released... Tut
Why is it gone? Why is it gone? Cry
Okay, okay, this is what it tastes like, my love for the cold and reliable boss
Elite bosses are well-received and civilized
Great writing! Like the author! Come on!
It's great. I hope you keep writing. The writing is good.
Big, rice, hungry 🥺
