Lin Huang can't get over He Ran's death.
He Ran's body is barely cold, and Lin Huang can't accept some older woman simply taking his mentor's place.
The members of Dongyang Branch Criminal Investigation Team One aren't too happy about it either.
Team Member A: "I heard Qin Shutong and Captain He used to be fellow apprentices. They were really close."
Lin Huang scoffs.
Team Member B: "I can't accept it either. Captain He was such a great guy. Nobody can replace him."
Lin Huang wholeheartedly agrees.
Team Member C: "I just hope that old woman isn't too difficult to deal with. Otherwise, Captain Lin might end up fighting her."
Lin Huang smiles scornfully.
Just then, the "old woman" walks into the office and waves at everyone with a cheerful smile. "Hey, kids!"
Everyone: "..."
