Yun Lanxing's heartless parents signed him up for a new survival livestream from the promising company, Future Unlimited. The show was called Two and a Half Years of Survival.
Each contestant could bring only two changes of clothes, a one-cubic-meter storage space, a spherical flying livestream camera, and a wristband linked to their contestant information. From the start, they could choose two supplies.
The show took place on a newly discovered planet. It was said to be very similar to their home planet, but twice as large.
All contestants had to survive on the planet for two and a half years. Anyone who wanted to quit could tap the withdrawal option on their wristband. During the show, contestants could work together or attack one another, but they could not kill anyone.
Contestants would be ranked by how many days they survived and their overall performance. The number of followers in their livestream channels also counted for a small part of their score. The champion, runner-up, and third-place finisher would each receive a large sum of star coins, as well as a mystery prize.
When Yun Lanxing received his contestant notice, he was utterly speechless. His heartless parents had signed him up without even asking him, then pocketed the 100,000 star coins they received for registering him.
Yun Lanxing immediately sued his parents in the Interstellar Court, only to discover that the people he thought were his parents were not even related to him by blood!
In the end, he won the case, got his 100,000 star coins back, and successfully had their guardianship revoked. But he couldn't get out of the show, so he still had to participate or pay an astronomical cancellation fee.
Yun Lanxing had no choice but to join the show.
Other contestants struggled to survive, eating and sleeping poorly, looking like savages.
