After Passing the Civil Service Exam, I Took Over the Heavenly Realm's Body-Swap Show

One-on-one romance, infrastructure building, power progression, and play the pig to eat the tiger

Yu Yaoguang, an exemplary civil service exam candidate in modern times, studies by lamplight late into the night for a whole year, only to collapse from exhaustion at dawn on the day of her exam. When she opens her eyes again, she is the youngest immortal in the Celestial Realm. She thinks she'll finally get to enjoy a carefree life as an immortal, but the Celestial Realm is even more cutthroat than the mortal world. Every immortal has to do manual labor, or be sent back to the six realms of reincarnation.

With no connections, no support, and no influential friends, Yu Yaoguang is bound to the useless System "Metamorphosis Plan." To stay alive, she can only rely on the hard-earned competitive spirit honed through modern entrance exams, graduate school exams, civil service exams, and exam prep. After overcoming one challenge after another, she passes the Celestial Realm's official exam and finally secures a stable job in the heavenly bureaucracy.

But it turns out that being a grassroots civil servant in the cultivation world is still a bottomless pit.

Luckily, after starting the job, she finally figures out how useful the System can be.

The grand Celestial Realm Metamorphosis Plan begins!

Faced with struggling people in her jurisdiction and high-ranking immortals who lie flat and neglect their duties, she swaps their roles so each side can experience the other's hardships;

To crack down on a fallen-immortal scam ring that aims to absorb people's fortune, she finds a way to infiltrate it and starts a newspaper to teach people how to spot scams;

Following the trail to the "big tiger" behind it all, she takes on countless identities to gather evidence and wipe out the criminal forces in one fell swoop.

Yu Yaoguang corrects abuses and overturns the Celestial Realm's entire civil service system,

calling on immortal officials to let go of their pride and break out of their habitual thinking,

setting off an anti-corruption storm across the Celestial Realm...

But when she finally completes her mission and receives an award and commendation from the Jade Emperor himself,

she discovers that her most reliable subordinate in the lower realm, little Mu, is actually His Highness Rong Mu, the Celestial Realm's crown prince.
