The researcher lay on the barren ground of Planet Arb, and, before his life ended, entrusted the faint remnant of Arb's will to the blue giant who had arrived.
"There's still hope for him. It's up to you to bring Arb back to life."
That was what his friend said at the end.

Hikari held his dearest friend's cold body and swore then and there that he would make the one who had hurt someone precious to him pay.

Yazawa Gen had used a small part of himself as a clone to study a planet. He never expected that fragile little body to be so carelessly wiped out.
The researcher's clone had one last reminder for his friend: make sure you revive the experimental subject! Having your research cut short halfway through is really painful, you know!
