Let's skip the beginning and the middle. In the end, the powerhouse completely devoured the infinite-flow world's supreme ruler and took Song Shu's stepson with her...
Oh, no, she didn't take him. She left the child with him.
Both marriages were so brief that Song Shu hadn't even gotten to the marriage-first-love-later part before they ended. Still, they'd turned him from a fine, single male Zerg into a twice-divorced male Zerg with a child.
Song Shu resolved to learn from experience and be extremely cautious.
While reviewing the lessons he'd learned, he found himself in a third and fourth brief marriage.

Great. Now he could return to the original topic.
He had a very strong objection to the possibility of marrying lots of wives.
This was the most eventful year in decades of his female parent's rebirths.
First, his male spouse died, which made him very happy.
Then he successfully returned to the military, which made him even happier.
But why, on an ordinary day, after an ordinary stint of overtime, did he come home to discover that his child had gotten married?
Fine, his child was old enough, after all. His female parent chose to understand and offer her blessing.
Not long after, just as he'd accepted the fact that his son had gotten married, he went away on a brief assignment lasting less than three days.
When he returned, his son had not only gotten divorced, but had already married again. And, even more unbelievable, his son now had a Zerg egg registered under his name!
He reasonably suspected his son had fallen for a scam, or ended up raising someone else's child.
His female parent made no comment. He just wanted to go to sleep.
This must have been some kind of absurd dream.
