Shrine Series: Emperor Fuluo
After eight hundred years of seclusion, the ghostly Lord Wenren Yunshan entered the world again, only to be pestered by a mysterious creature that looked sort of like a deer. A “deer spirit,” supposedly.
The “deer spirit” acted all innocent and honest, while its schemes practically bounced right off his face. He wanted to see what the “deer spirit” was really up to. He never expected that while it seemed to be playing tricks on the surface, it was actually making a play for him behind the scenes.
Wenren Yunshan should have reached the tribulation stage long ago, yet he still could not ascend. His instincts told him that this “deer spirit” was his tribulation.
Kill him, and he could master the Great Dao, successfully ascend, and become an indispensable figure in the history of Tianzhou. It was every cultivator's dream, and he would never repeat the mistakes of those who came before him.
Wenren Yunshan could tell that he was no ordinary “deer spirit,” but he could never have guessed that he was an “exile,” a “runaway,” and an “illegal migrant” from the Heavenly Court.
“I sought the Dao with my sword, yet in the end, I fell into ruin with you.”
As they sank into the abyss, no one could have imagined that the “deer spirit's” fleshy buds and flowering horns would truly grow into a towering tree and bloom into the most beautiful flowers.
And one day, Lord Wenren, the ghost who had lorded over Tianzhou for centuries, would kick open the gates of the Heavenly Court and confront its supreme ruler.
