After the DB band became famous, rumors and gossip never stopped.
After one concert, during an interview, a reporter asked,
"Ms. Su Muning, the DB band has never had a guitarist since its debut. Is there a particular reason?"
She replied casually but earnestly, "All the accessories for our band come as a set. If just the guitar breaks, replacing the whole set would cost too much money and effort, so we'd rather do without one."
The reporter asked again, "You come from a family of musicians. Why did you choose to form a band?"
Behind her sunglasses, Su Muning stared intently at the camera but didn't answer.
That night, when she went out to the car to get her phone, a man she had never imagined she would see again stood beside a Rolls-Royce beneath a streetlamp, dressed in a suit.
After a long, silent gaze between them, he said, "Muning, let's talk."
