A fanfic based on the TV series 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star.
Four male leads, two storylines, finding salvation and support in each other.
Buddie
Eddie and Buck first met in a bar in Austin. Buck was bartending, and Eddie was captivated the moment he laid eyes on him.
But Eddie messed everything up.
When they met again on the 118, Buck didn't want to be around Eddie. But in truth, Buck still had feelings for him, and Eddie wanted to make up for his mistake all those years ago.
Tarlos
TK adopted a child and devoted everything to the kid. His father thought this was wrong, though, and that TK should have a life of his own.
They moved to Austin, where TK met someone he couldn't help being drawn to.
Carlos met a firefighter. He admitted that he was attracted to him based on looks, but the more time they spent together, the more the other man's qualities drew him in, until he couldn't help wanting to know him better.
Warnings:
1. The stories of the four men are not two completely unrelated parallel narratives.
2. This fanfic includes personal headcanons, such as TK adopting a child, and some characters' ages have been changed to make the story more plausible.
3. The characters will inevitably be out of character.
4. The POV shifts, like in a TV show. Sorry if that's not your thing.
5. The Buddie story is roughly “winning your husband back after losing him” and “two dads raising a kid.” The Tarlos story is roughly “love at first sight,” “finding salvation in each other,” and “everyday life raising a kid.”
Theme: Love isn't found, it's created.
