Zhuqu Xu realized from the moment he could remember that he had arrived inside a game called Tokyo Jujutsu: The Present Day Arc.
The System panel held little information, with just one prominent line of text:
Test Server Player Restrictions: You only get one chance to reload a save. Survive with care.
He was a gamer cut off from the world, lonely and apart from everyone else. He had no father, but luckily, his mother was also a gamer, which gave him a little comfort.
When he was six, his mother's game console ran out of power. One ordinary morning, she was forced to die, still mumbling for Zhuqu to wait for her.
Just like that, six-year-old Zhuqu lost his family and wandered the vast city of Tokyo.
But he felt neither fear nor despair.
He was a gamer. His mother would come back as soon as she finished charging the console.
He lived this way with game System 0729. One day, while the two of them chewed on toothpicks and chatted on the street, they ran into a burly man. After several years of silence, a notification suddenly appeared:
Join Jujutsu High and make friends.
At the age of twelve, Zhuqu finally set out on the main story quest.
[Notes:
* Top, all-conquering top, harem protagonist
* Zhuqu is a gloomy, pathetic little boy. The first few chapters focus on his childhood, showing how the adorable little dumpling gradually becomes a smiling, backstabbing schemer.
* The devoted couple stays together; Mechamaru and Miwa stay together. Don't interrupt the sweet romance between these lovebirds.
* Dig up the buried bodies; torment Mahito and Kenjaku. There may be a romance, but not much. Fans of either character, run!]
Theme: Don't become addicted to games
