If you suddenly find yourself in an unfamiliar place, don't panic. That blackhearted boss may well have pulled some strings.
*
Waking with a start in the middle of the night, Wade Lester discovers that his home has somehow been forcibly relocated to Gotham City, famous for its dark aesthetic.
*
Before he can even take it all in, he spots a letter on the table, written by his past self. From it, he learns that all these baffling events happened because of the resume he sent in.
*
However, Wade, who remembers nothing, still thinks of himself as an ordinary, harmless young man living under the glow of the red sun.
*
That is, until he digs out his company uniform. What the hell is this bizarre outfit? Wouldn't just looking at it make your sanity plummet?! (Painful Grimace.jpg)
*
Then he fishes an equipment box out from under the bed: an owl mask (okay, that's weird), a pendant set with a strange green stone (there's a pink version, too), a camera and its accessories (his past self says these are how he makes a living), a jar of unidentified green liquid resembling DNA, marked with a red-and-white umbrella logo (his gut says it's bad news), and a whole pile of other bizarre things he can't bear to look at.
*
Wade: I want to quit! (Clinging to his boss's leg)
Blackhearted Capitalist Boss: No. :) (It's not every day I find an idiot with such high productivity. If I don't squeeze him dry, won't that hurt my reputation?)
Notes: 1. The story is mainly based on the films and TV series.
2. It's basically about an onlooker.
3. Please do not imitate any dangerous behavior in this story.
4. There'll probably be, more or less, about a 95% chance of out-of-character behavior.
5. There are original characters, but they shouldn't affect your enjoyment.
6. Written for love, updated whenever inspiration strikes.
7. I'll add more when I think of it.
Theme: With an ordinary person's body, stand shoulder to shoulder with ordinary people
There's Thestral and Talon! Although dead
. . Maomao's behavior is really disgusting, and I don't understand why the protagonist lets her go just by asking her to clean the room (and the room was messed up by Cat in the first place). . . .
I think I saw this introduction last year or the year before?????
Haha, is this changed and reposted?
