A Thousand Lifetimes of Dreams [Short Story Collection]

A collection of short stories, for all the strange little scenes in my head.

Story One: "The Mask" (Historical Romance) (Complete)

He came from purgatory, a wicked ghost, a rakshasa.

On the day iron cavalry broke through the imperial city, only one palace remained unscathed.

She lived inside.

Story Two: "Cinnabar Pillow" (Fantasy) (Complete)

She was a little immortal, and he was a great demon.

The great demon could lord it over heaven and earth. He had never imagined that one day he would have to depend on someone else to live.

He survived on the blood from her heart.

Story Three: "Slashing the Snow" (Historical Romance, Martial Arts)

Her master pointed at the snow filling the sky and told her, "Come find me again when you can cut through all the wind and snow."

She did it.

When she returned to the snowy mountain with a sword case in her arms, her master was gone.

Story Four: "Punishment of a God" (Fantasy)

He was a god of sin, infamous throughout the Six Realms. The day he was brought to the judgment platform, he wore bloodstained robes, and his chains clinked.

Everyone cheered.

Only she shed a tear from the corner of her eye.

Story Five: "Half a Pot of Wine" (Fantasy)

They met during the war between immortals and demons, and they died. As ill fate would have it, they met again after entering the underworld.

The two ghosts decided to put their past lives behind them and took turns pouring each other a cup of wine.

When half a pot was left, she said, "Wait for me. Don't drink it behind my back."

He readily agreed, and waited, and waited...

1. A short story collection with both sweet and angsty stories, featuring lots of couples.

2. Writing practice, just for fun. Updates whenever inspiration strikes, but I will finish it (the abandoned projects in my column look too ugly, qwq).

3. There are historical romance and fantasy stories, but more fantasy ones.
