[Punishing: Gray Raven] I'm the Commander!

As the highest-dimensional overseer at the core of the world, Omega maintains the separation between worlds, preventing them from interfering with one another. She was used to seeing the daily chaos caused by order disruptors who transmigrated into books or into historical settings to wreak havoc. Then she suddenly discovered a few unusual ones secretly preparing to enter a game and stir up trouble.

Worlds generated by games are generally under the creator's control. Causing trouble inside them can easily get you flagged as a virus and removed. Once an order disruptor enters a game world, control is no longer in their hands. Given the many previous cases of people being wiped out as viruses, Omega never expected anyone would still be brave enough to try.

In the past, whenever disruptors threw a world into chaos, Omega would send her employees to deal with them. But this time, the order disruptors had come up with a way to merge the game world with other worlds, freeing it from its creator's control.

Given the seriousness of the situation, Omega, the main god, decided to handle it personally this time.

The main point: Because of the game's own rules, every outsider needs a legitimate identity. Otherwise, the game's own security program might still wipe them out. After spending some time in the game world, Omega ultimately chose a special role, one the creator had specifically designed for the players: Commander!

And with that decision, Omega began to learn about this world, and she never once took her eyes off that person.

Alpha: That was the first time I saw what she looked like! When I was walking past places where I'd already searched for food over and over, I saw food again. My rational mind knew it couldn't have appeared out of nowhere, but I still brought it home to eat. Luna and I needed food. This kept happening again and again for almost a year. Every time, the unknown presence brought us food that was easy to digest and nutritious, sometimes with a few little toys mixed in. It seemed to know we were children, but I never saw it. I hadn't seen any infected nearby for a long time. I knew that presence was protecting us. I wondered if it was a person or a god. But when I happened to see what it looked like, I regretted it. Not because it was ugly. On the contrary, it was beautiful. But when it turned into fragments and vanished before my eyes, I thought I'd offended it. Even though we continued to have plenty of food for a long time afterward, I really wanted to see that god again and tell her, "Thank you, my beloved god. I will carve you into my soul, then find you again!"

Author's note: I got into the Punishing: Gray Raven setting this year, and I'm still exploring the overall story. Since I'm writing this for fun, I'm planning to combine a few things. Some details are based on my own ideas, so this is basically an alternate-universe fanfic. Please don't take it too seriously.
