The following is the blurb:
[Gentle and refined, coolly calculating strategist seme x gluttonous snow leopard uke with incredible strength, who's a lovable fool only around the seme]
After one life, then a second, He Yi was reborn in a dynasty never mentioned in the history books. He took over the body of a farmer who had died alone of illness in a dilapidated mountain hut, so weak he could barely get out of bed.
He had come back to life, but not entirely.
He thought this would be a brief second chance at life, but who could have guessed...
On his first day after arriving, someone left a wild hare by the foot of his bed.
On his second day, a long-tailed pheasant appeared in the house. Outside the window, he also caught a glimpse of a large, fluffy, spotted tail swishing back and forth...
Was he surrounded? Surely they couldn't be feeding him?
P.S.:
This is mainly a food-focused story, with actual farming, house-building, hunting, and fishing.
There will be a small golden finger (immortal dew), but it won't appear until later chapters. This isn't a wish-fulfillment story.
The dynasty is fictional, but to include a wider variety of food, the crops are mainly based on those from the Ming dynasty.
The author has limited knowledge, so feel free to point out any errors. I'd be very grateful if you could do so kindly. Thank you for your support!
The blurb for my ongoing neighboring novel, The Jade-Faced Immortal's Fall and Second Career:
Qing Zhensu was a once-in-a-generation prodigy, famed as the "Jade-Faced Red Panda." One day, he fell from his place among the immortals and, on the brink of death, hid himself in the pages of history.
To fight his way back, the former immortal venerable of the righteous path, now a useless beauty, has no choice but to go undercover beside the universally despised Dog Emperor, serving as a eunuch who delivers meals.
Noodles steeped in hemlock, dumplings filled with poison ivy, chicken stewed with poisonous mushrooms, and meatballs soaked in poisoned wine...
He served up one batch after another of poison meant to assassinate the Dog Emperor, but the emperor, radiating the might of a true dragon, sat securely on his throne day after day, without the slightest sign of illness.
And so the tyrant's reputation as an impossible man to kill spread far and wide.
No one knew that all the poison he served three times a day was being completely siphoned off by Zhensu, who used it to cultivate his powers.
Naturally, Zhensu's apparent efficiency and unwavering loyalty did not escape the emperor's notice. Before long, Zhensu was promoted to the emperor's personal attendant. And in time, he was even pulled into the emperor's bed!
Even the true immortal, who had weathered every storm, was struck dumb when summoned to serve the emperor in bed.
As luck would have it, his immortal body was nearly complete, and he needed to fake his death to escape the pages of history. So he brazenly challenged the emperor: "Your Majesty, would you dare to wager with me? If my sinful... measurements prove greater than yours, will you allow me to take the top?"
The emperor thought he was simply embarrassed and had come up with an excuse, so he smiled faintly and said, "Very well. I'll take that bet."
Afterward, one of them had nothing to smile about.
They spent the spring night in the warmth of the hibiscus curtains.
Afterward, Qing Zhensu was astonished to leave the bedchamber completely intact. But at least he was guilty of deceiving the emperor, since he wasn't really a "eunuch." Surely this time, he would be executed.
Who could have imagined that he would never receive punishment from the Dog Emperor? Instead, the emperor kept him at his side day after day, watching him like a hawk...
"You will never leave me, will you?" The emperor smiled, but madness and malice gathered in his eyes as he spoke threateningly.
Zhensu: "...Yes." As if.
That night, assassins and rebels launched a fierce attack from within and without. The figure the emperor cherished so dearly suddenly appeared in front of him, taking a poisoned spear straight through the heart--
Theme: Food is hard-won
Thanks for the limited fee, I spent the whole afternoon chasing it, it looks great!
I really like the snow leopard baby, it's super cute, but it's frustrating to watch. He Jie, the vicious male supporting character, was almost gone until the end. . .
I've finished reading. Schets is so cute, and the setting is still very attractive. However, the narrative description at the beginning is a bit confusing, the characters are a bit thin, and many things are not explained clearly. I look forward to the author's next progress.
Finished the chase in one go!! So awesome! Madam, won't you write more stories? 😭 😭 😭 😭 I want to see the sweet story of the young couple
[Covering face and peeking] Thanks for the limited fee. Although I didn't finish it when I saw it later, it was time.
Thanks for free 💪 come on 💪 sprinkle flowers [sprinkle flowers] show [cat claws] [cat claws]
Some of the words are too archaic, but I really like this plain farming article
Did you write down the number of pounds of cotton? One tael costs 1,000 cents, and 52 taels costs 310 cents. A pound is at least 167 pounds to have this price. . .
But your 52 taels cost more than 160 kilograms. . .
So this adult is my cousin's cp? He only said that he had been a civil servant and did not say that he was retired, so he might not be very old.
