1. Lorraine Howard, a graduate of Hogwarts' Gryffindor House and a member of the Order of the Phoenix, died on April 26, 1981, while fighting the dark witch Bellatrix Lestrange. She made a tremendous contribution to the First Wizarding War.

Original female lead, all pairings possible, follows canon. James and Lily, Ron and Hermione, and Lucius and Narcissa are not broken up. The male love interests span the Marauders' generation and the next generation. Currently includes Sirius, Remus, Draco, Cedric, Fred, George, and Harry, as well as some one-sided crushes.

Tips: The female lead isn't perfect, isn't particularly intelligent, is slow to recognize romantic feelings, and isn't devoted to one person!!! Sorry if that's a dealbreaker.
