I'm Phoning It In as the Immortal Venerable's Little Cat

Overworked office drone Yun Miaomiao transmigrates one day and is about to become the divine beast at the side of an ascetic Immortal Venerable.

That means signing a blood pact with the Immortal Venerable, constantly fighting monsters, working hard to level up, laboring without complaint, and risking life and limb. In the end, during the war between gods and demons, she takes a sword for the Immortal Venerable, turns to dust, and vanishes from the world.

Yun Miaomiao worked herself to death on a 24/7 schedule in her past life. There is no way she is foolish enough to spend this life as a battle-type divine beast, bleeding and crying without even health insurance or a retirement plan!

Yun Miaomiao opened her bright blue cat eyes wide and immediately spotted a pampered young master with treasures hanging all over him, dressed like a colorful butterfly, and squealing in terror at the sight of a tiny bug.

Ah, the young master was so rich. He was scattering glittering spirit stones all along the way.

Yun Miaomiao's eyes lit up.

You're the one! Don't even think about running!

Yun Miaomiao pushed off with her short little legs and leaped. Plop! She landed right in front of the young master, flattening herself into a cat pancake.

The next second, she raised a snowy white paw, determined to carry on despite her injuries, and smacked the bug dead.

Then the kitten lifted her fluffy little head and let out a sweet, babyish meow:
