[Next book: Paradox Star. A dark-matter beauty x a cold-blooded colonel, an intensely romantic love story. Blurb below.]
Warmhearted, kind, closeted top x cold-blooded, heartless beauty bottom
Before meeting Qu Ce, Qin Yi thought men who liked men were all lunatics.
After meeting Qu Ce, Qin Yi would rather be a lunatic.
That day, Qin Yi's billionaire father kicked him out and told him to reflect on himself.
The reason was absurd: his father suspected Qin Yi liked men. To Qin Yi, who was intensely homophobic, that was a huge joke. What was there to like about someone with the same parts as him? What was wrong with people?
Following his father's orders, Qin Yi went to the street to put screen protectors on people's phones as a way to reflect on his behavior. Then a good friend betrayed him, and he ended up aboard a train of death.
Please read the train rules carefully:
1. While the train is moving, smashing windows or forcing open doors to get off is forbidden. Violators will lose life points.
2. Getting off before the train reaches its final stop is forbidden. Violators will lose life points.
3. Unless instructed otherwise, killing others is forbidden. Violators will lose the same number of life points as the person killed.
4. Your life points are worth 60 minutes. When they reach zero, you die. To stay alive, kill prey within your limited time to earn life points. Each prey killed earns 3 minutes. (Important notice: Perform one good deed in this space to earn one "Slave Coin." Collect three "Slave Coins" and you may enslave anyone you choose. Two-thirds of the life points earned by the enslaved person will belong to their master.)
Qin Yi scoffed at the rules, assuming they were a prank by some game company. If a rule said not to do something, he was going to do it.
In just half an hour, Qin Yi had broken nearly every rule, lost almost all his life points until only three seconds remained, and offended the cold-blooded man on the train, Qu Cezhi, whose looks made it impossible to look away.
With only three seconds left to live, Qin Yi thought he was as good as dead. Then he heard two gunshots: Qu Cezhi had killed two prey.
Qin Yi's remaining life points suddenly jumped from one second to 00:03:59.
According to the train's fourth rule, Qin Yi immediately realized that he had successfully enslaved Qu Cezhi. The two of them were now bound in a master-slave relationship.
Qin Yi fled in terror. Given Qu Cezhi's cold and ruthless nature, he would chase him to the ends of the earth and kill him.
Qu Cezhi cornered Qin Yi in a dead end filled with zombies, intending to let them tear him apart.
A companion rescued Qin Yi, allowing him to escape Qu Cezhi's clutches and make it to the next stop alive.
There was no way Qu Cezhi would let Qin Yi live. Their master-slave relationship had to be undone.
Qu Cezhi trapped Qin Yi by the train door and forced him into a duel where the loser would die.
There was no suspense at the shooting range: Qin Yi lost.
Qin Yi was reborn in the Chamber of Rebirth. Qu Cezhi's cold-bloodedness taught him that the cruelest heart in the world wasn't a woman's, but a handsome man's.
But Qin Yi never imagined that one day this heartless, cold-blooded beauty would stay by his side when he was at his most miserable, soothe him with a harmonica, and protect him in his arms when he was in danger, risking his own life to keep him safe.
* 1v1, both pure, enemies to lovers
* Equal parts plot and romance
* Not an angst story. The blurb only covers the beginning. Because the top enslaves the bottom, they become bound by a master-slave relationship, with the bottom becoming the top's slave. They can only break the bond if one of them dies, which is why the bottom tries to kill the top. After Chapter 22, they resolve their master-slave relationship and begin spoiling each other. If you don't like the leads being enemies early on, feel free to skip ahead!
Blurb for Paradox Star
When Xia Ye met Lin Shu, he had already lived alone on Paradox Star for three hundred million years.
He was a humanoid life-form accidentally created by dark matter. He was extraordinarily beautiful, but wrapped in the ugliest shell.
On Paradox Star, light began underground and darkness came from the sky. Every living thing lived and died with the coming and going of the light from below. Xia Ye was the only exception.
Before long, a human military unit came to the planet to collect biological samples and noticed that Xia Ye was abnormal. The unit's colonel hunted him down as a monster.
Colonel Lin Shu saved him.
But he brought him back to the human base for scientific research.
*
Xia Ye couldn't understand human language. All he could see was people of all kinds gathering around him every day and pointing at him.
The colonel who had brought him there must have been afraid he'd starve, because he brought Xia Ye his favorite food every day and occasionally spoke to him.
Over time, Xia Ye learned a little human language and found out that the colonel was called Lin Shu.
Xia Ye committed this human to memory.
After so long alone, Xia Ye gradually got used to being around humans and wanted to stay at the base.
Just then, the base's scientists confirmed what kind of life-form Xia Ye was. To study him further, they decided to saw through his shell and extract his true body while Lin Shu, who opposed violent research, was away.
Xia Ye had tried many times to shed that shell, but never managed to.
If humans could saw it open for him, that would be great, though it might kill him.
*
Their attempt to saw open his shell failed. Xia Ye was reluctantly sent back to the forest by Lin Shu, and went back to living alone as before, wrapped in that ugly shell.
Until one day, Xia Ye rescued a group of humans being attacked by native creatures. One of them was the colonel who had taught him human language.
After a long separation, their eyes met.
At that glance, Xia Ye's brow suddenly began to crack.
Then a pink flower blossomed rapidly over his heart, and its strange fragrance spread across the entire planet.
Had he shed his shell?!
According to his nature, Xia Ye knew he would bloom twice in his life:
Once, a pink flower would bloom when his heart was moved.
Once, a white flower would bloom when he died.
When he met the eyes of the person who moved his heart, and that person returned his feelings, the pink flower would bloom. So the colonel felt the same way about him...
Xia Ye stood completely exposed in front of the colonel. "You have to take responsibility."
The colonel: "...I didn't touch you."
One glance was enough to pass on an entire civilization.
* A crafty, shameless colonel top x an innocent, adorable dark-matter bottom
* Happy ending, 1v1, both pure, both strong, mutually doting, younger bottom
Theme: All life is equal
I really like their story after reading it. It's really easy to attack 🐰
At minus 18 degrees Celsius, the human body will be frozen 💔 instantly after entering it. This is awesome.
Also in this article, I saw several women appearing now. Except for the one with the surname Gao, whose camp is unclear, the other two are villains. I feel that the author is a bit misogynistic.
There's only seven people left, so there's no need to kill all eight queens.
I'm so annoyed by these people who keep holding me back.
Is the main character really homophobic? I'm afraid he'll die but I just like it 😂
I feel that the plot is written quite smoothly and the pace is quite fast, but the emotional transformation of Gong and Shou is very blunt. In the first twenty chapters, Shou still hates Gong so much that he hates Gong to death. How come he becomes so nice so quickly? Isn't the process of emotional transformation written delicately enough? There are also some character designs that are OOC, and the writing is a bit like a licking dog.
This paragraph cannot be obtained by force, it is just wishful thinking... It really makes me sigh.
The writing is poor to a certain level
It feels like the ending is a bit forced to separate half a year. . . Obviously I don't have to do that, but I can just look a little more cruel like this, so I feel like I wrote it like this@___@
