Wukong's Deskmate Is Daiyu

A transfer student joined the class.

The girl wore her hair in a neat, low ponytail and carried a huge schoolbag as she took the empty seat beside Sun Wukong.

"Hello, my name is Lin Daiyu," the girl introduced herself.

"You've crossed the line, classmate." Those were Sun Wukong's first words to Lin Daiyu.

High school days were long and dull.

During breaks, Sun Wukong and Cao Cao loved getting together to brag.

Sun Wukong: I'm the best under heaven!

Cao Cao: Of all the heroes under heaven today, only you and I measure up.

Taishang Laojun's chemistry class was always everyone's favorite time to catch up on sleep. Anyway, the old man was so nearsighted he couldn't see a thing.

The most popular class was still Sun Jian's PE lesson. Everyone judged his mood that day by the luxury car he drove in.

Reading guide:

1. A mash-up of Journey to the West, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, and Dream of the Red Chamber. No Water Margin, because it has too many characters to fit.

2. Age gaps aren't a problem. For example, Cao Cao is actually much older than Zhuge Liang, but here the difference is probably just a year or two, for show.

3. This is all made up nonsense, a chaotic stew. Anything can happen, including all kinds of author-invented details and outrageous events. Just enjoy the ride.
