History Livestream: Starting with Li Qingzhao

Mo Si is a publishing editor and a new video creator. By chance, videos she makes are shown on the sky screen across historical worlds, including: [Ranking the Top Ten Chinese Literary Figures] [Ranking the Top Ten Female Political Leaders in Power in China] [Ranking the Top Ten Reformers in China] [Ranking the Top Ten Eccentrics in China] And so, many things change. 1. A poem appears on the sky screen: [One should live as a hero among men, And die as a spirit among ghosts.] [To this day, we think of Xiang Yu, Who would not cross the river east.] Countless scholars leap to their feet and exclaim, "What a fine poem, what noble spirit! I wonder which distinguished gentleman wrote it?" In the Southern Song era, Xin Qiji smiles. "It was her! It must have been her!" [The author of this poem is Li Qingzhao, China's foremost female literary figure and a celebrated poet of the graceful and restrained school.] Qin Guan's pupils contract in shock. "Graceful and restrained?" 2. A burly, extremely dark-skinned man appears on the sky screen. A crescent-shaped birthmark marks the space between his brows, and he wears an official robe from the Song Dynasty, his bearing imposing. A handsome young man stands behind him, tall and straight, with bright eyes and handsome brows. A black sword hangs at his waist. Countless young women secretly blush at the sight. Bao Zheng's face darkens. Am I really that dark? [In life, he was a good official. After death, he became an unparalleled official, and eventually rose to become the King of Hell, ruling over life, death, and reincarnation.] The entire court erupts. They have to start building connections with him right away! Who cares if you have someone up above? Having someone down below is the real key! Reader's note: 1. The tone is lighthearted, but the history I tell is real and serious. I'll cite the sources for some of my views. This novel is essentially my reading notes, and I won't abandon it. 2. When telling these people's stories, I won't limit myself to the individuals themselves. I'll also include anecdotes about other writers, historical context, and my personal opinions. I'll do my best to keep it focused so it doesn't interfere with the main story. 3. This book is written for my own enjoyment, and readers may have differing opinions. Let's agree to disagree. 4. I hope you enjoy reading. Theme: A written work can last through the ages.
