But this is Gotham. Xiao Yu tried to call Uncle's antique shop from a phone booth, only to find the number had been disconnected.
Luckily, Uncle managed to contact her with magic before Xiao Yu had spent long wandering the streets of Gotham.
“Gotham is in another dimension. Demon Xiao Long dragged Shendu into the Abyss, and Shendu unleashed tremendous power at the last moment. The curse created by combining the talismans sent you to Gotham a few days later.”
“One more thing: the talismans all ended up in Gotham's dimension. Xiao Yu, you have to find them all. Leaving them in Gotham could have serious consequences!”
“One more thing: once you have all the talismans, use them to come back. Jackie is going to be worried sick, ”
“One more thing: if necessary, ask other people for help, ”
“One more thing, ”
Xiao Yu: “I got it, Uncle! I'll be careful!”
Xiao Yu, one week after arriving in Gotham: I miss Uncle Jackie so much. I want to go home!
Having noticed that this city always seemed to have a few masked vigilantes around, and remembering how Inspector Black and Uncle Jackie had always forbidden her from joining their missions, Xiao Yu decided to try her luck with the vigilantes.
But how was she supposed to find them?
There might be a Batman's Robins pairing, but I don't have an outline or any actual story yet, so I haven't decided who it'll be.
