Next up for preorder: The 1990s Alley Breakfast Shop
Xu Ping's mother had a lifelong best friend, a rich woman who was already driving a limited-edition supercar in the 1990s and owned a private plane and a small island.
When Xu Ping was little, all kinds of imported snacks would show up at home, along with gorgeous Disney princess dresses and complete sets of limited-edition game cards. They were all gifts from her mother's best friend.
The wealthy woman in the photos really was the most beautiful person Xu Ping had ever seen, even more dazzling than a movie star. Sadly, her love life was troubled, and she died young. The day Xu Ping started elementary school, her mother's friend died in a car accident.
Xu Ping studied all the way through to her PhD. When she reached the age the wealthy woman had been when she died, Xu Ping got into the same kind of car accident. When she opened her eyes again, she was in 1988, and had become her own mother's classmate.
Xu Ping dug the pocket money out of her pocket and stared speechlessly at the sky. Don't tell me I'm the one who has to earn the fortune of a self-made rich woman?
And that refined young man dressed so shabbily... wasn't he the younger version of the handsome big shot she'd met before she died??? Xu Sanyan, the future richest man in Liangcheng, who'd casually donated a building to her school just by doing a little charity work!
Xu Ping had seen the young man's ruthless side when he beat up troublemakers behind everyone's backs. Whenever she faced his indulgent smile, she couldn't help recalling the rumors she'd heard from the future: Xu Sanyan had been a violent delinquent in his youth, committing all sorts of misdeeds and even spending several years in prison. He only turned over a new leaf after the woman he loved died.
Please add my upcoming novel to your reading list!
The 1990s Alley Breakfast Shop
Jin Miao, the eldest daughter of the Jin family in Sweetwater Alley, was the first person from the neighborhood to go to college. She saw the wider world in the capital and grew ambitious, but after graduation, she spent two years at home doing nothing, unable to land a good job or settle for a bad one.
The golden girl had fallen from grace and become a laughingstock throughout the alley.
After two years of silence, Jin Miao suddenly had an epiphany. She rolled up her sleeves, took over her parents' failing little restaurant, and boldly promised to make it big and turn it into a nationwide chain!
A college graduate from Jing University getting up before dawn and staying up late to sell fried flatbreads and glass noodle soup!?
What a ridiculous idea!
But Jin Miao soon breathed new life into the little breakfast shop, which had barely had any customers. It was thriving, with a steady stream of regulars. A simple serving of pan-fried buns, an ordinary-looking fried flatbread...
How could every single thing taste so good that people couldn't stop eating?
Later, radio stations in the capital came to interview the Jin family's little shop. Tourists from all over the country traveled there to try it. She really did turn it into a nationwide chain!

Ling Shouzhuo made a serious mistake, so his family sent him to a godforsaken backwater to reflect on what he'd done.
He never expected to run into his former college classmate and sworn rival, Jin Miao.
When sworn enemies meet, sparks fly. He took one sip of the bland beef and glass noodle soup and groaned, "This is so hard..."
"It's hard to believe it took me this long to realize how talented you are, Jin Miao! What kind of bone broth is this? It's unbelievably delicious! Please, boss, give me another bowl!"
"Whatever I did wrong back then, it was all my fault, okay?"
Theme: Stay positive and face challenges head-on.
I specially recharged my money to read this novel! To be honest, I really like the subject matter and the writing style! If it wouldn't be a problem to expand and write 1,000 chapters, I don't understand why it ends so inexplicably! It's like being coerced into not writing anymore. I couldn't be more regretful!
As expected, the ending was unexpected as mentioned in the comment section.
The ending was unexpected??
I have always disliked Shi Weiguo, and he is indeed not a good person.
Alas, I thought "Dad" was a good person at first, but I didn't expect it to be such a bad thing! And Zhang Ruyi, ah ah ah ah, this stinky woman confuses people's hearts. I thought she was a good one at first, but I didn't expect it!!!
Can the author write the character's name wrong? Many times
"That's what I said, Zhou Zhenzhen's test..." This is a big bug for the author~ Why doesn't my father care more?
How did the third fire become the second fire?
Actually, I don't really like this kind of down-and-out Cinderella story. Even if I encounter Wang Sisi after her career is successful, it would be better than this.
Very good, I read it smoothly. It would be great if there is a side story about Wang Sisi and Wen. I have always been looking forward to Wang Sisi's career line. At the beginning, she said she would become Wang Caishen, but I haven't seen it until the end. I'm a little disappointed.
