I Host a Livestream Quiz for Qin Shi Huang

My upcoming novel, The Qin Dynasty's Lucky Baby Is Read Like an Open Book, will be starting soon. The blurb is at the bottom. Feel free to visit my page! #The first series is wildly over-the-top# This story is inspired by various historical sources and unofficial accounts. It's for fun, just a novel, not orthodox history. An interactive livestream room on the sky screen appears in the imperial palaces of parallel timelines. It starts with a race to buzz in and choose a broadcast. The rulers and officials of each dynasty have never played this game before, so most of them decide to watch and wait. But then a mysterious person wins the chance to choose and, instead of selecting some matter of state, insists on requesting “A Look at Those Outrageous Love Affairs About Emperors from Later Generations”?! [Qin Shi Huang was actually a devoted romantic. It's said that when he was a hostage in Zhao, he fell in love with a beautiful girl named A Fang. Sadly, by the time he ruled the realm, she had passed away, so the First Emperor built Epang Palace to commemorate his beloved.] [Later, the First Emperor happened upon Meng Jiangnu, who looked just like A Fang, and the flame of love rekindled in an instant. Even though Meng Jiangnu was married, he seized her and brought her to the Xianyang Palace, then built the Great Wall for her...] Liu Bang clicked his tongue in amazement. “I don't believe the First Emperor was that kind of man!” Li Shimin shook his head. “The First Emperor wasn't that kind of man!” Li Longji stroked his beard and laughed. “He and I... are not kindred spirits!” Zhu Yuanzhang pursed his lips. “Waste money building palaces and walls for a woman? Was he that kind of man?” Qin Shi Huang looked up from a pile of memorials, his face dark as water. “Bring me my sword!” [Actually, Li Shimin's true loves were Empress Xiao and his younger brother's wife. Empress Zhangsun was merely a target he placed in his harem...] Er Feng drew a ten-meter-long blade. “How dare you slander my Guanyin Maid! Scrub it clean!” [Actually, Liu Bang's true love was Consort Yu. He fought Xiang Yu for the realm just to take her from him...] Old Liu drew a ten-meter-long sword. “I didn't even know I was this devoted! Scrub it clean!” [As for Liu Che, he was different. He had several true loves. Let's take a closer look...] Little Piggy picked up a ten-jin iron hammer. “The only person I love is myself! Scrub it clean!” Eventually, everyone realized that they had to keep control of the choices in their own hands. It's just a race to buzz in. Who's afraid of that? Later, that aloof Qin Shi Huang became hopelessly addicted to buzzing in... The story will probably cover, among other things: “Those ‘Deeply Moving’ Royal Family Bonds Throughout History” “The Most Impressive Emperors in History” “The Most Eccentric Romances in History That Defied All Moral Bounds” “The Most Miserable Fates of Princes, Generals, and Ministers Throughout History” “The Extraordinary Women of History” 1. These are parallel timelines, and events in each dynasty don't affect one another. 2. Themes include gossip and stories about the emotions and affairs of rulers, nobles, ministers, and the royal court throughout the dynasties. 3. This is just a story, not real history. Please don't scrutinize it for historical accuracy. Upcoming novel: The Qin Dynasty's Lucky Baby Is Read Like an Open Book Zhao Buxi died unexpectedly while saving someone. On the day she transmigrated to ancient times and was given a new life, a lone star appeared beside the moon over Handan. A celestial master declared that this child was a calamitous star. The King of Zhao was furious, and a scheming adviser suggested taking advantage of the opportunity to shift the blame westward. The Six States of Shandong readily agreed, and a plot against Qin gradually came to light. In the Xianyang Palace, the young King Zheng of Qin took the baby in his swaddling clothes and said gravely, “Since my son Fusu insists on adopting you, from today onward you are my child. I bestow upon you the name Minghe.” Before he could finish speaking, the baby in his arms struggled to sit up and left a drool mark on his face with a big smooch. A childish voice rang in the ears of the father and son, “Aaaaaah, the First Emperor is holding me! He's my dad now! Father even snuggled with me!!! The wise don't fall in love, let's stew a goose in an iron pot. What are the Six States to me? I'm going to help the First Emperor build a beautiful Qin Empire!” Fusu and the King of Qin stared at each other, utterly shocked... The rulers of the Six States waited eagerly, but what arrived was fertile soil enriched with compost, countless new crop varieties, grain stores full to bursting in every household, and mountains of salt and iron... Even more infuriating, that tyrant Ying Zheng set up public kitchens to provide disaster relief. People from every state raised their arms and shouted that they wanted to become Qin citizens too! The rulers of the Six States were going completely crazy! Where was the calamity star? The calamity star they'd gone to so much trouble to send to Qin, the one who was supposed to bring the whole country down? Why hadn't they done it yet? Later, Qin Shi Huang, having unified the Six States, smiled faintly. “I've never seen any calamity star. But I do have a lucky baby who loves his country and family.” Ying Minghe covered his mouth to hide a grin. “Father, Qin's troops have been resting and building up their strength. They can strike the Xiongnu in the north and open the Silk Road. And what about the lands of Nanyue, where the weather is like spring all year and the rice can be harvested several times a year? Would you like to...” Qin Shi Huang replied without hesitation, “I would!” The history books record that the “Golden Age of the First Emperor,” established by Emperor Ying Zheng of Qin, brought peace and prosperity, a strong nation and a wealthy people. Countless rulers of later generations regarded him as a model benevolent ruler. A celebrated poet even praised him with these lines: “The Qin king swept across the Six States, what mighty ambition! He opened the granaries to save the people, and won every heart to the west!” Theme: Learn from history and let the splendor of China shine
