The Hot-Tempered, Pitiful Guy Is Super Clingy

Updated daily

After twenty years of blindness, Xiao Baiyuan was unexpectedly bound to a System. As long as he completed the assigned tasks, he could regain his sight.

Yan Zhan was abandoned and despised again and again from childhood. He hated this world, and his heart was full of resentment.

But one day, someone appeared and said they would take him away.

At his younger brother's birthday banquet, Xiao Baiyuan gave him a valuable Dushan jade ornament. The other man deliberately dropped it on the floor, causing an uproar.

In front of everyone, he made a veiled jab: "It's my fault. Big Brother's been blind since childhood, so of course he can't see what he's holding and might drop it. I should've caught it properly."

Everyone said Xiao Baiyuan was gentle, refined, and exceptionally clever, but it was a shame he was blind and couldn't compete for anything.

Watching this scene, the crowd felt regret and sympathy, along with contempt.

Only Yan Zhan went straight up and punched him, turning Xiao Baiyuan's birthday banquet upside down.

He would become Xiao Baiyuan's sharpest blade and help him reclaim everything that was rightfully his.

Xiao Baiyuan had a secret.

The System could show him the world he hadn't seen for twenty years through surveillance footage.

But in this world, both strange and familiar, there was one person he could never see clearly.

So he asked, "Can I touch your face? I want to know what you look like."

"Sure," Yan Zhan answered readily, just as readily as he had agreed to go with Xiao Baiyuan.

Xiao Baiyuan didn't know that Yan Zhan, who was always cold toward others, quietly blushed at the ears when the person before him touched him.

Yan Zhan had a secret too.

When he was ten, he tasted the first sweetness this world had ever given him, and he never forgot it.
