Whether you're in the Muggle World or the wizarding world, life can be a little difficult when you're a half-blood in every sense of the word, can't it?
Fortunately, Aelios Lin is a girl with a good head on her shoulders. She's always careful not to get herself into trouble. For example, she won't get involved in the feud between Gryffindor and Slytherin. She won't make any sensitive comments when Pure-blood supremacy is all the rage. She won't openly declare where she stands, and she's wary of any unprompted kindness or sudden offers of help. Though she has Ravenclaw's fierce curiosity and strong spirit of exploration, she usually just uses the castle's secret passages to avoid the Marauders and certain Slytherin troublemakers.
She doesn't want to get into a conflict with anyone. All right, she really dislikes the arrogant, rude James Potter, and she looks down on the scruffy, unkempt Snape, but that doesn't mean she's going to go looking for trouble, okay?
She's very cautious about making friends. Yes, she doesn't want to be friends with idiots, because they can easily drag you down with them. She also doesn't want to deal with certain so-called Pure-bloods who look down their noses at everyone, because they remind her of dogs obsessed with breeding for pure bloodlines. As for certain troublemakers, she avoids them altogether. And so, her list of friends consists mostly of Ravenclaws and a few Hufflepuffs.
But she really, really, really likes Lily Evans. Even though Lily is a witch from a Muggle family, and even though she shines so brightly.
Coming from a Muggle family means trouble and discrimination. Shining brightly means attracting unwelcome attention.
But she really likes Evans.
A guide for readers:
An original half-blood Ravenclaw female lead, set in the Marauders' era and following the original work's positions. No transmigration or rebirth. Gryffindor won't be bashed, and Slytherin won't be whitewashed. She admires Dumbledore but doesn't entirely agree with his methods. No mindless bashing or mindless glorification.
If you want a tragically wretched Riddle, an aloof and noble Malfoy, a Snape who loves so deeply it destroys him, a clueless James, or a top-tier bully Black, please move along. Thank you.
This is a story written with complete freedom. The pairing and sexual orientation are undecided, as is whether the ending will be happy or tragic. There are many scenes of the female lead having a secret crush on Lily, so be aware! The female lead is not perfect! No guarantee that the original work's regrets will be put right! No guarantee that characters who died will be brought back!
To repeat, the sexual orientation is undecided!!! The story is tagged as girls' love because the female lead's romantic feelings for Lily play an important role in the story. But the female lead may fall in love with another man or woman later on.
Theme: Love is a lifelong thing.
