Lu Yao has liked Luo Yueming for a long time.

She is the moonlight in Lu Yao's heart, something she can admire but never reach. In other words, Lu Yao doesn't even dare to confess her feelings.

Luo Yueming is cold, keeping everyone at arm's length. She likes to be alone and can handle anything perfectly, but she cares deeply about her grandmother.

By a stroke of luck, Lu Yao gets Luo Yueming's grandmother to the hospital in time, saving the old woman's life.

For the first time, Luo Yueming gives her a proper look. Then her grandmother says, "Since Yaoyao is single too, why don't you two get married?"

So, at the Civil Affairs Bureau, Luo Yueming's dark eyes sweep over the petite woman before her. "We're getting married to fulfill Grandma's wish. Don't read too much into it."

Lu Yao is both happy and heartbroken. She nods. "Okay."

After they marry, Lu Yao treats Luo Yueming well, hoping that little acts of kindness will warm the heart of this ice beauty.

But three years pass, and Luo Yueming's heart still doesn't belong to her.

The old woman eventually passes away. Lu Yao waits a long time at home for Luo Yueming, and when she finally arrives, the first thing she says is, "Let's get divorced."

The keys slip from Luo Yueming's hand. For the first time in three years, she loses her composure.

After the divorce, Lu Yao opens a flower shop.

Every day after work, Luo Yueming just happens to pass by. Watching the vibrant woman standing among colorful flowers, so popular with the customers, her gaze gradually turns cold.

Didn't she like her?

Ever since they were students?

Then why did she want a divorce?

Luo Yueming corners Lu Yao. "Let's get remarried. I'll do anything you want, as long as you come home."

Lu Yao smiles at her. "Even the stars that adorn the moon will eventually fade, Luo Yueming. I'm tired."
