The Emperor Took Me by Force

Western Regions delinquent x possessive King of Han

Yu Du faces a man who is utterly composed. Even after Yu Du's assassination attempt fails, the man doesn't order his execution. Instead, he builds a tall platform for him and showers him with wealth, like a foolish and absurd ruler.

Yu Du: “What do you want me to do?”

The man: “You don't need to do anything.”

Only after a devastating war are the prisoners of war escorted to the capital. Along with the traitorous ministers who colluded with outside forces, tens of thousands of defeated rebels kneel trembling before the Meridian Gate, not daring to raise their heads.

Seeing the Western Regions prince he once loved below, Yu Du suddenly understands. The man had used him as a cover for his own supposed foolishness, so he could wipe out both internal and external threats in one fell swoop. What a brilliant scheme.

He is about to go down and kneel with the Western Regions prisoners when the man pulls him into his arms.

The man's voice is low and pleasant, full of delight, as if he has heard heavenly music.

“Just watch.”

Stung by the intimate sight of the two together, the prince glares with eyes almost bursting from their sockets.

So this is how you take revenge on me.

He prostrates himself on the ground beneath the emperor's gaze, his voice hoarse as if he has coughed up blood.

“This guilty subject pays his respects to Your Majesty's Noble Consort.”

The man's arm rests across Yu Du's lower abdomen. The composure on his face crumbles like an iceberg, and his gaze is filled with possessiveness as he looks at him.

“He hurt you. This time, I repaid him for you. From now on, you mustn't think of him again.”
