A seemingly obedient loyal dog who's actually a possessive black snake x an innocent sunshine girl at first, later a short-tempered, dangerously unhinged tribute
In short: a nontraditional forced-romance story
[Blurb]
Have you ever run into someone you know on the battlefield?
Yin Queqing has, and it's happening right now.
If it were a friend she hadn't seen in years, that would be one thing.
But this person before her...
Three years ago, they had shared a bed, holding each other close.
But after Queqing returned to her hometown, she promptly forgot all about him.
Jiang Duanhe? She hadn't even remembered his name three years ago.
Jiang Duanhe furrowed his brows slightly. He had imagined many possible outcomes.
He had never once imagined that the person before him would forget even his name.
But it didn't matter.
At least right now, he could hold her in his arms and greedily draw warmth from her.
It was almost all he had ever wanted.
Everything that happened afterward was because of that warmth.
The towering pavilion reached into the clouds. It was the cage he had built for her.
People love birds, so they clip their wings,
so that their beautiful plumage and melodious songs can never leave the confines of a tiny golden cage.
That was how Jiang Duanhe treated Queqing.
He wanted no one but him to see her every expression, and wanted every joy and sorrow of hers to exist for him alone.
Jiang Duanhe couldn't help it.
He had only her, while she loved so many other things.
Whenever he thought of it, anguish burned within him. He wished he could turn her beloved hometown to ashes.
Fortunately, by then he held great power.
Jiang Duanhe understood all too well how tenderly Queqing's homesick heart was trained to yield.
All he had to do was raise a dispatch detailing the war between their two countries, and he could trade it for a night of her tenderness.
Though humiliated and furious, Yin Queqing still clutched the scroll in her hands.
Her voice wavered, tainted by a hint of desire.
Once again, she was reading aloud a report written by a courtier about the state of the war.
The words were proper, but her voice...
Jiang Duanhe clearly had no intention of stopping what he was doing. A playful look crossed his face.
"Go on, why did you stop?"
[Reader's Guide] (More details in the author's note for Chapter 1)
1. One-on-one romance, both leads are each other's only partners; a little melodramatic, with a nonhuman lead (?)
2. The male lead has a human upper body and a snake's tail, though he is usually in human form (but he is still a snake).
3. The female lead is simply innocent, not stupid (I promise). At first she's emotionally resistant but physically unable to refuse; she only truly falls for the male lead midway through.
4. This is best suited to readers who like yandere bad boys. The male lead is emotionally rather submissive throughout, so it may not suit readers who like domineering CEOs who always take charge.
5. If you get angry, feel free to curse me out, but please don't fight with each other!
6. This may not suit readers who like strong female leads. The heroine is a sweet but unfortunate and unlucky girl. The author firmly rejects women competing against women, and every character has their own underlying motivations.
7. [Important] The ending really does put the male lead through a groveling redemption arc, and it goes way too far (sweat).

[Blurb]
This is a story about roses, about all kinds of roses.
[Part One Blurb]
Desserts are best savored slowly. Sometimes they're served with bitter coffee or tea to cut through the excess sweetness.
"Sigh, Miss Aiyani, you..."
The moment Su Erhong looked away, Aiyani stuffed the entire chestnut-and-cherry cake into her mouth.
"Mm? What d'you %&#*?"
Aiyani was struggling to swallow her cake. When she heard Su Erhong call her, she could only look up and make a few incomprehensible sounds.
"It's nothing."
Su Erhong smiled gently. After all, he was the one who had invited this "unwelcome guest" in.
Neither of them could have imagined
that one day Aiyani would risk her life for a piece of cake.
And Su Erhong would once again take up the sharp knife he had set aside years ago, for the sake of roses with nowhere to go.
People who came to the Dessert City were supposed to "ask nothing of the past and speak nothing of the future."
But after meeting Aiyani, Su Erhong knew that he could never let go again, whether of the past or the future.
[Blurb Two]
As an assassin, Fushan Weil might be a failure.
She knelt for a long time before her parents' graves, deeply apologizing for having failed them.
"I'm sorry, Father and Mother. Perhaps the people need someone like Mr. Zefico."
She didn't know that Fried Zefico was hiding nearby and had heard every word.
Fried was already a man of great power. He should have been indifferent to all this.
But that late night, perhaps he was too drunk, or perhaps the sunset was too crimson, making him unwilling to see any more bloodshed.
"The people may need me, but Miss Fushan Weil, I truly need you."
He embraced her from behind, burying his face in the velvet of her wine-scented dress.
[Content Warnings]
1. This novel is utterly devoted to telling the stories of cold-blooded, powerful women. The male lead is a bit like a camera that follows them around, and some male characters are hopeless romantics.
2. A little chuunibyou: modern technology and magic coexist, along with Chinese elements, making for a bit of a mash-up.
3. The story focuses heavily on its characters and their relationships.
Theme: For the sake of freedom, anything can be cast aside.

Hello everyone, this is Momo (dressed simply) (but in a gorgeous appearance). The next book is expected to be the current book "Sultry but Self-confident", about a frigid female engineer x a gentle and loyal dog coder. Zang Jinzhi was really worried but Qing ah, this is probably the friendship between girls.
It feels like Zang Jinzhi is about to become Que Qing's mother, and he always thinks about her.
The author wonders whether the heroine is too weak
