Dreamers' Gathering [Infinite]

Updated daily at 11:30 p.m.!

Lu Shi unexpectedly receives an invitation to a gathering, inviting her to join a game where lives are the stakes. Little does she know that during the competition, she'll run into a clingy tagalong she just can't shake.

Lu Shi sets her up.

Wei Rujin: She's definitely got potential. I'm claiming the big shot's leg first!

Lu Shi investigates her.

Wei Rujin: Big Sis is investigating me~ Big Sis must have me on her mind~

Lu Shi: "…" She's got a hopeless crush. There's no fixing her.

In a strange town covered in black mold, Wei Rujin turns pale with fright at the sight of a ghostly shadow. "Waaah, there's a ghost in the woods!!"

The next second, she scoops up the five-foot-something Lu Shi in a bridal carry and runs like the wind.

Bounced around until she's seeing stars, Lu Shi looks utterly resigned. "...Could you put me down before you say anything else?!"

In a Japanese-style school building besieged by zombies, Wei Rujin, dressed in a JK uniform, trembles behind Lu Shi. "Eep, zombies are so scary."

Lu Shi: Amitabha. Even NPCs deserve to live. He's nearly burned to ashes because of you...

Lu Shi had only wanted to quietly clear the levels, make money, and build a fortune. But the "drama queen" at her side, with her absurdly high combat strength, keeps throwing everything off course.

It isn't until later that Lu Shi discovers the enormous conspiracy behind the game, one involving the fall of the gods and the survival of civilization. And she herself is the one and only key to breaking the deadlock.

[Reading Guide]

1. Mildly scary infinite-flow, lightly Lovecraftian, may include tabletop RPG elements.

2. Heavy on deduction early on; the golden finger isn't very powerful.

3. Warning: the qualifiers may put you off. You can read without thinking too hard. Even the author can't make sense of them when rereading.

4. A highly intelligent, scheming big shot who's afraid of ghosts x a sweet troublemaker with an outrageously high combat level. They switch roles!

Theme: Find a way to live when backed into a corner, and help each other through adversity.
