Originally titled The Fallen Immortal

A hundred years ago, the lord of Chenwu Palace, Zhongchang, rescued a little calico cat. On the day the cat demon took human form, Zhongchang Jing was gravely injured and meditating in seclusion. The cat came flying at her and knocked her to the ground.

After returning to Chenwu Palace in the demon realm, Zhongchang Jing shut herself away. A few days later, the people of Chenwu Palace discovered that their lord, who had always stood above the rules, was giving off the scent of a mating signal!

The lord of Chenwu Palace, the one who kept the Five Realms in balance, had become a Kunze!

The day the girl took human form, the wind and rain howled outside, and the night was dark.

She saw an immortal seated in the mist, her figure faintly visible. Her first heat arrived without warning, and she went and assaulted the woman in the mist, wearing nothing at all.

A month after the storm passed, she never saw that woman again.

The orange cat was despondent for days, until an envoy from the demon realm carried her back to Chenwu Palace and dropped her at the bedroom door.

The bedroom was filled with the scent of a mating signal. Days later, the immortal spoke languidly from her bed. "Since you dared to assault me, you will stay here from now on and raise the demon crystal for me."

Only days later did she learn that during that stormy night, she had absorbed most of the immortal's demon crystal, leaving it covered in cracks.

It turned out the immortal had come to... collect a debt.
