Sweet-talking, devoted younger Alpha * Gentle, teasing award-winning actress Omega
Shi Niannian transmigrates into a book.
She becomes the cannon-fodder spouse, an Alpha who married into the family, of Shen Ruyue, an award-winning actress in an old-school ABO novel.
The original character and Shen Ruyue agreed to marry and maintain each other's public image. But the original character flirted with women everywhere and ruined Shen Ruyue's reputation. After Shen Ruyue warned her, she tried to drug and mark Shen Ruyue.
The drugging failed, and the original character was struck down instead, ending up behind bars and in tears.
After reading the original story, Shi Niannian decides to divorce Shen Ruyue right away and refuses to be sacrificed for the plot.
Then she opens her eyes to find Shen Ruyue pressed up against her, her eyes red and clearly in heat.
Shi Niannian, still drowsy and affected by the heat: …!!!
Help! How did the original character succeed in drugging her?!
*
After accidentally marking Shen Ruyue, Shi Niannian is terrified. Faced with a choice between prison and running away, she decides to admit her mistake.
Shen Ruyue gives her a cold glance and parts her red lips. "Yesterday was my normal heat. Drugging me? You think far too highly of yourself."
Shi Niannian: ...
Whatever the heroine says is right!
Once she confirms that she hasn't committed a crime and has simply spent one passionate night with Shen Ruyue, Shi Niannian opens her mouth to bring up divorce.
But Shen Ruyue hands her a marriage contract first.
The Omega's ears are a little red, but her voice remains cold. "My position is special. For the sake of both our reputations..."
Shi Niannian: "...!"
It turns out she transmigrated into the book before the wedding, not after it.
Looking at the contract that changes the original character's fate, Shi Niannian thinks it over, then accepts.
Who wouldn't want to live off a beautiful older sister?
The first clause of the marriage contract requires Shi Niannian to stay by Shen Ruyue's side at all times.
When Shen Ruyue is tired, she leans on Shi Niannian. When she's cold, she wants Shi Niannian to hold her. And when she's in heat... Shen Ruyue gets even clingier, keeping Shi Niannian with her on and off for nearly a week before letting her go.
Once the pair's "sweetness" lands them both on the trending list, the CP fans see Shi Niannian being used as Shen Ruyue's pillow and start a topic of their own.

At first, Shen Ruyue finds Shi Niannian fascinating and intriguing.
Later, after Shen Ruyue grows used to having Shi Niannian beside her every day, Shi Niannian says she wants to leave. Shen Ruyue's expression turns cold.
"...You can't go anywhere but stay by my side."
