1. The heroine is a spirit born from love. She doesn't know how to define her existence. After her adoptive parents die and the villagers accuse her out of ignorance, she comes to see herself as an ill omen, a cursed being.
She also knows perfectly well that she isn't human, because humans cry and feel pain when they're hurt, but she doesn't.
Cursed spirit is simply a term for what the heroine is. Some of her abilities later on are also similar to those of cursed spirits, which is why the title uses those words.
