Mu Yuan transmigrates into a post-apocalyptic power fantasy novel. He was supposed to become the chosen one, the only person with a healing-type ability.
But the teleportation goes wrong, the System's mission gets stuck with a bug and won't open, and he ends up in a polluted zone full of danger.

The app has an adorable pixel-art interface. On the screen is a shabby restaurant and several fluffy little creatures, curled up in balls and covered in wounds.
The cubs look so pitiful that Mu Yuan can't bear to watch. He tries feeding them a meal,
then another,
and yet another...
Mu Yuan gets completely carried away.
When he finally comes to his senses, he realizes he's surrounded by a whole pile of fluffy creatures.
And the little shop he opened on a whim to raise the cubs has somehow become the most popular restaurant in the Empire!

In the year 201 of the interstellar era, an unknown form of pollution broke out across the Empire. After paying a terrible price, scientists concluded that no weapon available at the time could stop it. The only solution was to use beastfolk cubs with powerful bloodlines to contain the pollution.
The cubs chosen for this purpose were called Abyssal Vessels.
They became containers for pollution at a young age, and were supposed to spend their entire lives sinking into endless madness and suffering.
Until that miraculous screen appeared...
A white rabbit cub, abandoned by its people and hungry all the time, watches as an enormous bowl of fried rice appears out of nowhere;
A puppy cub on the run from pursuers sees a sizzling steak drop from the sky;
A kitten cub, near death after having its blood drained, finds a beautifully decorated apple pie in the corner of its cell...

1. This blurb was captured in February 2023 and revised in November 2023. I refined some of the worldbuilding, but the central idea is still raising cubs and healing fluffy creatures!
2. The gong is reborn, and his beast form is a winged serpent. The romance involves quite a bit of plot from his previous life. I'm working hard to build up a stockpile of chapters.jpg
3. The cubs in this story are fictional beastfolk, so please don't apply this to real life. Cats can't eat chocolate, and they can't talk, either. If you see a cat talking, run away as fast as you can (?)

Jian Jie, Blue Star's only general, was a weapon born for war. Before the war was over, he had a momentary lapse in judgment and made a bet with his nemesis, losing himself in the process.
The good news: His nemesis is a nice guy who provides free room and board.
The bad news: His nemesis isn't human.
Living with a nonhuman is a painful experience.
He always does all sorts of bizarre things, including but not limited to:
Forgetting to breathe while asleep, growing a bunch of plants called potatoes that have absolutely nothing to do with actual potatoes, and accidentally breaking the furniture.
Even worse, he likes posting about their life together on the interstellar net. He gets a huge crowd of shippers as a result, so wherever Jian Jie goes online, he sees fan art of himself and his nemesis.
After nearly a year of living together, all of this gets worse and worse. Jian Jie finally can't take it anymore and holds a press conference to clear things up:
"We absolutely, positively have no relationship beyond that of ordinary nemeses."
The reporters look at the other main character, half-convinced.
With all eyes on him, Jian Jie's nemesis gives him a reassuring look.
"That's right, we're really just nemeses. Please, you have to believe us!"
His tone is utterly serious.
"Because if you don't believe us, Jian Jie won't agree to marry me!"
Silence falls over the venue for three seconds. Jian Jie closes his eyes in agony, and the interstellar net explodes.
