Livestreaming a Countdown of the Ten Most Tyrannical Emperors from the Start

[Upcoming story: I Deliver Packages Across the Historical Dynasties] Yang Jing is a graduate student in history. Her thesis is about the horrifyingly cruel tyrants of the past. The historical records are so disturbing that, to cheer herself up, she makes a series of videos poking fun at these tyrants. She never expects them to be uploaded into the very eras her targets lived in. And so... [Everyone knows Jie, right? The last tyrant of the Xia dynasty. The people all clamored to die with him, and in the end he starved to death... Sigh, I really want to ask Xia Jie: other than starving, what can you do?] Jie, strong enough to straighten an iron hook with his bare hands during his coronation ceremony: ? [King Zhou of Shang, surely everyone knows him? He was lecherous and extravagant, and to please Daji, he never did a single decent thing. In the end, his kingdom fell, and so did he...] King Zhou, who has just abducted Daji and brought her home: ?? [Huhai, the Second Emperor of Qin. We've heard all there is to hear about him, haven't we? You can't sit on a throne you've stolen. He sat on it and managed to destroy the Qin dynasty. From its founding to its fall, it lasted fifteen years, less than the time I spent in school.] Qin Shi Huang, just patting Huhai on the head, and Huhai, enjoying a tender father-son moment, freeze: ??? In the end, Yang Jing feels much better, but then realizes something is wrong. Why does her thesis keep getting rejected by her advisor? Those tyrants... aren't tyrants anymore! Her account's comment section is suddenly flooded with new accounts burning incense, praying to Buddha, and enthusiastically liking, commenting, and sharing her videos. They say they're from various dynasties, and thank her, the living immortal, for helping them live in peace and prosperity. [Note: These are all parallel timelines. The story explores the many faces of history and the different possibilities. The author neither glorifies nor disparages anyone, and writes with an objective perspective. Rational discussion is welcome, so please don't argue. Enjoy the story!] Upcoming story: I Deliver Packages Across the Historical Dynasties Blurb: Tang Yi is an ordinary delivery courier.
