Jian Yi transmigrates into a book and becomes a professional villainous cannon fodder character whose job is to oppose the protagonists.
Protagonist One: A top-tier star and reigning queen of the entertainment world.
If you oppose her, her fanatical fans will tear you to pieces first.
Protagonist Two: A fake heiress who seems to have stolen someone's place, but is actually a real rich tycoon.
If you oppose her, she'll solve the problem with her powerful money.
Protagonist Three: A poor girl who is loved by a domineering CEO.
If you oppose her, the CEO who dotes on her will throw you into international waters to feed the fish.
The System assigns Jian Yi her tasks: spread rumors to slander Protagonist One, use trickery to frame fake heiress Protagonist Two, and insult sweet, innocent Protagonist Three.
Jian Yi: ...
Jian Yi smiles.jpg: How many lives do you think I have?
But after being forced to follow the plot and getting close to the protagonists, Jian Yi discovers...
Protagonist One, Protagonist Two, Protagonist Three...
Aren't they the best friends from her past life, so close they could share a pair of pants?

The three protagonists who transmigrated into books discover that their dear Jian Yi from their past life has also come along.
But Jian Yi is much more unlucky than they are. From the start, she's broke, unknown, and completely alone. On top of that, she's been handed a cannon fodder script, and the System is forcing her to follow the plot.
The protagonists are furious: We'll protect our precious Jian Yi ourselves!

The top-tier star protagonist, who wants to cling to Jian Yi every day: Please, please come with me to my next variety show.
Jian Yi: No. I don't want to gain several million more followers.
People recognize me even when I'm walking down the street. It's seriously getting in the way of my peaceful life as an ordinary person.
Top-tier star: If you don't come with me, don't blame me if I get so busy with work that I forget all about you.
Jian Yi: ...You mention me on Weibo once every two days on average, and bring up my name in four out of every five interviews. I'd sooner believe I'm a catfish who saves the world than believe you'll forget me once you're busy with work.
-
The fake heiress protagonist, who is actually a super-rich tycoon: I bought you a new place to live and a way to get around.
Jian Yi: I'm the villain who's supposed to target you in the plot. This isn't really appropriate.
Fake heiress: Don't get the wrong idea. This isn't a friendly gift. It's just a way to humiliate you over money.
Jian Yi: Oh... So buying me three islands overseas and ten private jets, hiring staff to go with them, and having everyone line up in front of me is your way of humiliating me.
-
The sweet and innocent protagonist, who also has a System of her own: My System's permissions have been upgraded!
Jian Yi: That's great! What do you want to do with your upgraded permissions?
Sweet girl: I want my System to take out your System. Your System is so annoying and doesn't take care of you at all.
Jian Yi: Oh-ho.
Jian Yi's System: ?

Later, the System looks at Jian Yi, a cannon fodder character who should have been written out, but instead has become famous, gained countless fans, succeeded in her career, and amassed a fortune. It falls into deep thought.
Jian Yi's response: Can't be helped. My best friends love me too much.
