[Blood Blockade Battlefront] Another Peaceful Day

Hellsalem's Lot (HL), the boundary between the otherworld and the present world. In this noisy city, a girl named Misty, who calls herself an "alchemist," reunites with her old friends amid the flames.

Old Friend No. 1, Klaus, grips her hand excitedly: "I'm just glad you're okay."

Old Friend No. 2, Steven, shows no joy at their reunion: "You disappeared without a word, then went missing for six whole years... Don't you think you owe us a proper explanation?"

The girl awkwardly rubs the back of her head. "Ah, well... It's because six years ago, I accidentally lost The Book of Endings."

"Then 42 items capable of destroying the world escaped from it."

"Little Dalian said she wouldn't let me come home unless I got them back. So I've spent the past few years trying to save the world."

"There are still a few I haven't recovered. I got word that they might be in HL's underground black market, so I came here."

[Reading Notes]

1. Blood Blockade Battlefront x The Dantalian Bookcase

2. The female lead's pairing in this story is Steven, but they hardly have a proper romance. Her views on love are quite unusual, and she has an ex-husband (Hugh).

3. Based primarily on the manga!! Due to the time constraints when I started writing, there may be conflicts with the manga's third season plot! (That means no White, Black, or King of Despair, the three anime-original characters; no barrier from the Magician's Association; and no Second Great Collapse!)

4. The prologue takes place during Part One of the manga (that is, after the end of Season Two of the anime).

5. There are a great many original settings, and characters may be out of character.

Thesis: Ordinary daily life is a series of miracles.
