Like the Moon, Like the Stars

Tang Ruyue has fallen in love. Her partner is twelve years younger than her, and is the son of one of her best friends.

Zhou Zhiye has fallen in love. His partner is twelve years older than him, and is the mother of his childhood sweetheart.

Tang Ruyue is relieved that she wasn't the one who made the first move.

Zhou Zhiye is relieved that he was the one who did.

The one unfortunate thing amid all their good fortune is that Zhou Zhiye's childhood sweetheart, Tang Ruyue's daughter, saw them...

In short: I fell in love with my childhood sweetheart's mom.

(I might expand this into a long story about a mother and daughter later. There is a male lead, but he will probably be little more than scenery, with far less presence than he has in this short story.)

Theme: A mom is more than just a mom
