My Nemesis Is the Villain

When Shen Lingyun was thirteen, a new neighbor moved in across the street.

He excelled at school and was gentle and refined, the legendary "perfect kid everyone else's parents wish they had."

As one of the classmates he was compared against,

she studied hard and finally outranked Li Hong after the high school entrance exams, becoming the top student in her grade.

That same year, Li Hong suddenly disappeared.

No one ever saw him again.

The summer after the college entrance exams, Shen Lingyun suddenly became bound to a System.

It told her that Li Hong, missing for years, was actually the villain in a political intrigue novel.

But the villain refused to accept his fate and relentlessly targeted the male and female leads.

With no other choice, the System had sought out Shen Lingyun.

Shen Lingyun asked the System, "What am I supposed to do?"

The System replied, "Make him accept his fate."

Shen Lingyun enters the novel and becomes a female aide in disguise, working under the male lead.

She resents Li Hong for disappearing for years

and keeps tripping him up with underhanded tactics.

Until one day, Li Hong catches her.

Though Li Hong is a prince, the emperor does not favor him.

To seize the throne, he must get rid of the Fourth Prince, the emperor's beloved, who has become a thorn in his side.

But lately, for some reason,

a new aide has appeared by his fourth brother's side.

This aide doesn't use schemes or trickery, just disgusting little tricks.

In a fit of rage, he dragged the person in front of him,

cut open her clothes with a knife, and prepared to cut out her heart to intimidate his fourth brother.

When he saw the white cloth across her chest,

his hand froze.

This person was a woman.
