A cross-dressing young county magistrate x a young retired Embroidered Uniform Guard
Guan Xianqing, who had just landed a grassroots government job, fell into a pit on her way back to her village-post dormitory.
Then she was transported into a Ming-dynasty political novel, becoming the unlucky character who disagreed with the male lead's policies and was eventually exposed as a woman disguised as a man, then executed for deceiving the emperor.
She wanted no part of the ups and downs of political life!
Guan Xianqing hurried to earn enough credits at the Imperial College, applied for an internship as a student, and rode off in a little horse-drawn cart to intern in a remote county.
Whether it was allocating farmland and arranging marriages or dealing with thieves and brawls, Guan Xianqing had everything under control thanks to her extensive grassroots experience!

But Guan Xianqing never expected that, despite her inability to find a partner in modern times, she would casually come across such a handsome young man.
He took off his bloodstained black clothes, becoming the silent personal bodyguard at Guan Xianqing's side. Then he appeared before her again in a Feiyu uniform and leaned close.
Guan Xianqing couldn't take it anymore. Ancient times really were the best!
A semi-fictional setting inspired by the Ming dynasty, with almost no political intrigue. A slow-paced story of life in ancient times.
Lighthearted, no angst.
