A massive outbreak of black contamination has engulfed the world. People are constantly exposed to it, and Sentinels who fight the sources of contamination accumulate several times more contaminant energy than ordinary humans. Sentinels need Guides to help regulate that energy. Once it reaches a critical level, they become one of the contaminated, turning into monsters.

Si An comes from a small family. He is an exceptionally gifted S-class Sentinel, and the only one whose contamination level has long exceeded the limit while he can still maintain his human consciousness.

With no S-class Guide suited to him, he has grown increasingly prone to violent episodes. When he loses control, people can only restrain him by forcibly fitting him with a control device. Yet to the outside world, he remains the military's most formidable human weapon, capable of wiping out all the contaminated in an entire city at the height of his power.

People see him as a monster, yet have no choice but to depend on him.

Si An is guarded and cold toward others, like a chained wolfhound always ready to bare its teeth.

When other Sentinels return from their assignments and take part in the monthly Guide-led calming sessions at the White Tower, Si An can only lock himself away in the deepest dungeon of the Black Tower.

It is no place for a Sentinel, but he spends every violent episode there. Even when he bites his arm until it is bloody, he emerges afterward and faces everyone with perfect composure.

Just as he thinks he'll spend the rest of his life with nothing but cold machines for company, the Si family finds him a good-for-nothing D-class Guide to be his wife.

A D-class Guide?

Si An scoffs when he hears the news. He'll be lucky if the man doesn't make him die faster.

He never expected this stunning wife to be a man, either.

His male wife has striking, chiseled features, handsome enough to make Si An catch his breath the first time they meet. He is tall and graceful, with a slender waist, long legs, and a shapely rear. The moment he sees Si An, he leans against him and sweetly calls him "Honey."

Si An's spirit form has long been corroded by contamination, so badly that it can manifest physically. When black, viscous tentacles curl around Bai Namin's hands, feet, and neck, Bai Namin isn't afraid at all. Instead, he steps closer and cuddles up to them.

Si An, who had only meant to scare his wife: ?

Other families watch from the sidelines, convinced that Si An has married such a lazy good-for-nothing and won't last long. But then they see that his cheeks are rosy, as if nourished by love, and he still strikes just as ruthlessly as before, even returning to the peak of his former power.

Bai Namin alone continues to eat and drink, laze around every day, and call his husband with endless enthusiasm. He doesn't care what anyone else thinks, because he knows that the bed is where it really counts.

[Reading Guide]

The top will gradually make his way into the bottom's heart, slowly conquering him. The bottom goes from a sharp-spined hedgehog to someone who lowers his guard and exposes his soft belly only in front of the top.

The bottom has a tentacled spirit form. Because of severe contamination, he takes on a nonhuman form during his violent episodes, half human and half monster. (I love nonhuman characters. Hope you do too.)
