The Shepherd Boy Who Chased the Wind [Football]

Growing up like a flower in a greenhouse, Vanessa had never understood what poverty meant, let alone war and death. Then one day, she saw a documentary featuring a shepherd boy in ill-fitting clothes, walking through the mountains and dancing with wolves. She donated all the pocket money she had saved, hoping it could bring the shepherd boy a little help.

Luka's childhood was spent in constant upheaval, shrouded in the poverty, war, and death all around him. Then one day, a volunteer gave him a soccer ball, and it was as if a crack opened in the sky and sunlight streamed in.

From then on, two parallel lines that should never have crossed began to tilt toward each other. They would meet at just the right time...

Short scene one:

After realizing the world wasn't as wonderful as she'd imagined, little Vanessa decided to do something for people suffering hardship. She wanted to donate all her pretty dresses and share them with the shepherd boy in ill-fitting clothes, so he could become a pretty little princess just like her. Oh, and her beloved crown too. Princesses need crowns, after all.

But when her father told her the shepherd boy was a boy, little Vanessa was astonished. Sure, he had short hair, but he was so delicate and cute. How could he possibly be a boy?

After confirming it with her father again and again, little Vanessa had to give up on sharing her crown and dresses with the shepherd boy. Instead, she took out her pocket money and asked her father to buy her a soccer ball. If he was a boy, he would probably like soccer, right?
