4. This is a writing exercise. I know my writing isn't great, so I want to practice by writing a clichéd story. I probably won't read the comments because I'm a little afraid of what people might say.
Here's the outline: The main plot follows Hu Fangrong making three choices. Hu Fangrong visits her maternal grandparents and spends some time in the countryside. She discovers that the third male lead, Xu Moxian, is one of the people at Shili Temple. He has a sick mother and is indecisive. Hu Fangrong is very pleased with him because he's easy to control. The second male lead, Li Zhengmin, exposes her affair with a powerful man, ending the third male lead's route and beginning the second male lead's. She returns to the county town. Li Zhengmin is somewhat clever, gentle and considerate, and comes from a wealthy family, but he can only marry Hu Fangrong as a concubine. The second male lead's route ends and the male lead's route begins. With the male lead, Hu Fangrong experiences a level of respect and comfort she's never known before. He doesn't mind her status as a pageboy, and she plots to get her indenture contract back through the county magistrate. She discovers that the male lead is the county magistrate. The end, confetti everywhere!
